“Absolutely hidden gem since 1912. It cannot get as authentic and homemade than this place. Just a fyi it’s all cash and just a little table outside to eat, most people take it to go. Very affordable and outstanding flavorful tacos, gorditas and tortillas.“

“All i have to say is this place was beyond our expectations. While waiting over an hour at another breakfast place we stumbled upon this cafe with a simple google search. My husband called to see if they had a waiting time and just our luck they didnt and even offered to reserve our table for our party. Customer service was excellent, and the food was chef kissed!! You can tell they make their food with love, it was so tasty 😋 overall this place is great and i cant wait to come back for those chilaquiles 🫢🫢“

“My family and I drove all the way from Hidalgo, TX to Fajitas To Go on 10th Street in McAllen after hearing so many great recommendations, and now we're recommending it to everyone!!! If you want amazing fajitas without spending hours outside grilling in this Texas heat, this is the place. The fajitas and chicken are perfectly seasoned, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. Easily a 10/10! In my opinion, this is the best fajita place in the entire Rio Grande Valley. The customer service was just as impressive. I went with my 2 boys, and the staff took the time to help us choose the perfect tray for our family of five. The portions were incredibly generous, we even had leftovers! Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We 1,000% recommend Fajitas To Go and will definitely be coming back again and again! THANK YOU!!“

“I live in Alice, I went to this place because I saw their place in u-tube, I am glad I did because their tortillas are almost as good as the ones my mother used to make. My wife ate nopalitos and cheese cordita and she said it was the most delicious she has ever tasted. I just hope the owner realizes the kind of cooks that he or she has because these are the best kind of chefs, they learned either from their parents or grandparents or both. My compliments to the cooks and if I were your boss I would give you a raise.“

“The food was phenomenal! Steak fajitas with all the trimmings! Wow! Also, the Mexican Plate was spectacular! And our waiter for the evening, Ramon, was so polite, professional and helpful explaining some of our choices. He was prompt, courteous and very attentive on our refills, too. What a pleasure dining at this restaurant, mainly because of Ramon, and the exceptional meal. Thank you!“

“Super yummy tacos! I love the tacos and the prices aren't bad either about 11 dollars for regular taco combo. Their beans are so yummy with the chorizo added and the service is super fast with a small salsa bar and chip area if you're eating in. There's small TVs and music does play. At night having a cute meal outside with your SO is super fun and just kinda chill with music playing“

There was a gentleman once serving us a while back and his service was like day and night from the lady. We had take out because we can’t stand her. “I got a fish dinner and it was really good! It came with the right amount of food for the price! The lovely lady at the front was nice and helpful. I don’t know much Spanish and she didn’t know much English BUT somehow we still communicated and got me everything I wanted. Would recommend! Will eat there again if I’m in town. “It’s hard to get a good home cook meal these days. Maria’s was tasty and delicious, eat part I paid under $11 for a fajita plate, with an enchilada, beans and rice. The meal hit the spot. This place is right in the heart of downtown. Recommend it if you miss your mom’s cooking. I for got to take a photo since I just dug into it. Apologies.“
