The only thing is that its at such an old building it is not wheelchair accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: The sidewalk does not have ramp and the entrance has a step to get into. “One of our favorite locally owned restaurants. The best taco salad in the RGV. My husband drools at the thought of going just because he loves her Chile reillno so much. Their breakfast tacos are tasty especially because of the fresh tortillas. Everything is so authentic. Great vibe in the restaurant. Just good hard-working folks enjoying a nice meal. Makes you feel like when you were a kid in someone specials kitchen. Always get service with a smile. Whether it’s one of the girls or the young man. Everyone is so friendly and kind.“

“We loved the small town cafe atmosphere. Super clean place and very busy. Apart from having cool decorations and very attractive menu, the food was tasty. Authentic Mexican breakfast. Appearance and taste on point. Our disappointment was the slow service, and the food was brought out one plate at a time and cold. Also, plates were brought incomplete missing complimentary items. Pricing was fair for the quality of the meal. Again food quality was excellent. Could have been an off day on the service. I enjoyed the music that walked in, excellent Fara Fara.“

“Came out here to Delia's tamales after a family reunion in San Juan and let me tell you, I got my tamale and menudo fix for sure. It was a Sunday on our way back home and had to stop to get tamales. Establishment is super busy, a long line at the drive thru, so we park and decide to go in to sit down and eat. Parking was available. We wait a little and make our way in. There is sufficient room, tables and booths are available. Food listings are up overhead at the registers where you can look up and see what you want. You get in line to place your order. We wanted to try a little of everything. We order the chicken, pork, and jalapeño and cheese tamales. I ordered a bowl of menudo. The tamales were on point. Very warm, fresh, and the tamale would slide right on off the husk with all of it still in tact, respectfully. The flavors were amazing. Great tasting authentic flavors. Just the right amount of masa and packed with the fillings to perfection. The menudo was also so tasty and with that homemade taste so close to how your mama would make it. They bring you your order and it did not take very long. Bottled drinks were served. You should come out and try this place if you ever come out this way to deep south Texas whether you are visiting te San Juan church or headed out to South Padre Island. I would of given this place a five but I am spoiled most of the times and I don't like to get in line to order. I'd prefer to have my menu at the table and place my order. Other than that, the best tamales and menudo ever.“
