Mijitos Cocina Reviews
Delicious food and friendly staff.
Nice quiet place. Food is delicious, and service is great. Only thing I didn’t care for is the fact that they automatically added a gratuity to the ticket. I would have probably left more than what they added, but the fact that they added it kept from placing more on the table.
I came from Austin Texas to visit my girlfriend and I came to the San Juan Church. Thought I would stop by this Mexican restaurant called MiJitos Cocina. My cousin told me about it. He said they usually have a buffet style breakfast but, today they didn't have it. So I ordered the huevos rancheros and their fresh tortillas. I must say it was definitely tasty. It's a must if you're in the area.

Mijitos Cocina serves excellent, nostalgic food reminiscent of home-cooked meals, offering a variety of dishes in their buffet, including fideo, chicken mole, cheese enchiladas, rice, beans, gorditas, barbacoa, and menudo, all of which are highly praised. The carne guisada, picadillo, and chicken are decent, while the capiriotada is a highlight. The restaurant is known for its great service, with attentive waitstaff and a friendly local vibe where everyone seems to know each other. Customers appreciate the flavorful migas, especially the Migas Locas, which are always crispy. The delicious salsas complement the meals well. With plenty of options and a great value at $13.99, Mijitos Cocina is a great choice for those craving traditional flavors, although it can be a bit noisy at times. The weekend breakfast buffet is also a popular feature.
