“First time here yesterday and I was a little nervous. Since it’s completely different food than what we are used to. BUT ITS DELICIOUS!!! I loved it!!! I’m literally going back today driving back from San Benito!!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend, and to top it off the staff is great!“

“I really enjoy Le Lai! I’m from Chicago and have indulged some of the best Chinese food. After Chicago I moved to San Antonio and missed the quality Chinese, so of course when I moved to McAllen I had low expectations however, Le Lai exceeded my expectations and so far is the best Asian cuisine I’ve had here. I highly recommend!“

“This is a place that's been around a while, and (for good and bad) it shows. First the good: My cashew almond chicken was delicious and there was enough for two more meals. The server was courteous and helpful, and the food was served quickly and came piping hot. Also the prices are very reasonable. The not so good? The establishment is showing its age. It's a bit dark and dingy and one of the chairs at our table had a badly torn seat cover. Still, the food was worth it. We should be back“

“The food here is well portioned. And has a wide variety of meals to choose from. I love the bourbon chicken from here. They could add a couple more employees, though I thought they were short-handed on staff. But it's still a great place to eat.“
