Excellent service provided by Alex! The restaurant was clean and very presentable. The bread is super fresh and flavorful and my main dish was excellent. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the flavors were outstanding. The location is great, right across from the BBVA bank tower and Nolana. We'll be back!

Been having a hard time finding a good place to eat in the valley that is not Mexican cuisine. After all, I like diversity. I've tried several restaurants and to my surprise, Il Forno serves a Pizza Margarita close to what I had in Napoli, Italy. The Chilean Seabass was exquisite, and although the service initially was attentive, we had to look for the waiter at the end if the meal. Prices were a bit high, but worth it for quality food. Was staying in McAllen for some months for work, and we found this gem. Eeasily best true Italian style pizzas. The chef also was amazing company and it was nice to be able to sit by the oven where he was making the pizzas. Still miss the Mari E Monti pizza with salmon..
