One of my favorite restaurants from McAllen and my favorite Italian place. I recommend the pizzas , they are amazing. Also, desserts here are amazing. Yes, is pricey but it worth it.

Came here for a quit dinner. Place is fantastic! Greeted when I walked in, took me to my seat quuckly. Eaitress came by and was top notch. On to the food ... Chicken Marsala (not what they call it) was sooo good!!!

Food was good hut kitchen was obviously having serious problems tonight. Ordered a couple of appetizers and after 35 minutes I had to cancel them, according to the waitress, the kitchen system never got our order. The lasagna is great but tonight, it was partially burnt and left a terrible aftertaste. We will have to come back but not in the near future. Their Tiramisu has no equal in McAllen, it is superb.

I have recently discovered this restaurant. Today I sat at the bar and ordered pizza. Johnny, bartender extraordinaire, was extremely busy — since it’s a Friday night. He was engaging and delightful! He epitomized the positive energy you want to encounter on a night out. I’d say this is worth your effort to experience and decide for yourself how you would rate it.

The food was very tasty and nice and hot. Even though almost every table was full, it didn't feel crowded inside. All the servers were nice. My only comment would be on the parking. There was not enough spaces in the front or the back so we ended up parking in an alley next behind the restaurant. The walk up to the restaurant was a little hazardous.Parking: As mentioned above, not enough parking and hazardous walk to the front of the restaurant.

Valentine's Dinner was fantastic!! Their preset menu provided great value and the food was delicious. Dessert was one of a kind both in presentation and mix of flavors. James, our server for the evening was excellent and took the time to explain all the items on the menu. His recommendations were on pointe. THANKS IL FORNO for a wonderful evening.
This is a review for an event at the location for valentines day: Food was okay, what really bothered me was where we were sat, right by the kitchen away from the actual restaurant main dinning room where there was live music. Also, there was no mention of gratuity being included and it ended up being a 40$ tip for serving two people. Ended up paying almost 300$ for mediocre food and service. Will not be going back.
