“After being discharged from the hospital, I stopped at Olive Garden 222 W Highway 83 McAllen and had an amazing experience. Despite not being dressed appropriately, I was treated with kindness and respect. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the server was attentive and compassionate, even offering assistance when needed. This was one of the best service experiences I have ever had not to mention the food service was amazing too.“

“want to share something truly meaningful that happened to me and my family. We stopped by Hungry Howie’s during a really difficult moment—we didn’t have enough money to buy food, and I was honestly feeling pretty defeated.
But the owner greeted us with a big smile and an even bigger heart. Instead of turning us away, she showed us kindness I won’t ever forget. She gave my family a whole pizza, no questions asked.
And on top of that—the food was absolutely delicious. You could taste the care and quality in every bite. It wasn’t just a meal, it was comfort when we needed it most.
In a world where it’s easy to walk past someone struggling, she chose compassion. That simple act meant more than just food—it gave us hope, dignity, and a reminder that there are still genuinely good people out there.
We highly recommend Hungry Howie’s to anyone looking for not just great pizza, but a place filled with kindness. We’ll be keeping them in our prayers and hoping their business continues to grow and be blessed, just like they blessed us.

Because they no longer serve the panini bread. That’s the only sandwich I used to order. It’s a shame because I loved their food. The employees always remembered my name and would try to offer something else not letting me leave empty handed but unfortunately the other bread is just too hard.“

“If you are looking for an incredible mix of traditional Texas BBQ and perfectly executed comfort food, Ace’s BBQ is an absolute must-visit in the RGV. I recently ordered their Monster Potato with Beef Fajita, and they did not disappoint. The portions are huge, the fajita is incredibly moist and flavorful, and everything was served exactly how I wanted it. Unlike some spots where the service can be hit-or-miss, the team at the McAllen location is efficient, welcoming, and consistently on point. Highly recommend stopping by if you want authentic Texas BBQ done right!“

“I really enjoyed taking my sons to chic fil a. I'm from. San Francisco, California and we don't have any of these restaurants there. So, I was finally able to see what all the hype was about. I don't remember the name of the salad I got but I was delicious. My salad had chicken, cranberries, walnuts and a delicious balsamic dressing!
I also really enjoyed the fact that after they ate my sons could go play in the play place and burn off a little energy before we headed home fore the night.“
“We were very impresssd with Samantha on the drive through during our 1st visit. She has excellent customer service and had a lot of knowledge in regards to the sandwiches. Being that it was our first time, she was very patient with us and explained the sandwiches thoroughly. Overall, she was great and deserves a raise!! Oh, by the way...the sandwiches were delicious!!“

“This Chik Fil A was quick with the food and it tasted delicious. The only main issue I had was that when I arrived at 6:00 pm both my wife and I were going to place separate orders, two registers were open. When one opened up, my wife went to it. Once the other register opened up, the employee walked away and I didn’t have anyone to take my order. The main issue I had is that there was about 4 or 5 other employees just standing there talking, two of them with blue shirts who I’m assuming are team leads. I ended up having to wait until my wife was done ordering to order from the same register. No sense of urgency from the other staff.
On another note, employee Antonio who was on the floor attending the customers dining was extremely helpful, and dedicated to serving the diners. He was kind and attentive.“

The Philly Cheesesteak, the Beefless Wrap, the Pumpkin Cheesecake, the Taco Salad! Packed with delicious flavors and very filling and good size portions. I can’t wait to go back for more ! ❤️“
