The dining experience did not start good. I made a reservation and we still had to wait to be seated. The service was really good. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. Great taste and adequate portions. Overall a good experience, definitely worth coming back.

Went to celebrate a friends birthday and took our own cake as anyone probably does and have done it in the past. Today the waiter told us that the restaurant was going to charge us $2.00 per person if we cut the cake. It is a shame that they would charge to go and celebrate at their restaurant, especially when you pay $120.00 for 2 people. I think they already got their monies on the food and free advertisement because we tagged them in our pictures. Food and service was good but they should consider not charging people to celebrate with a cake in their restaurant.

I want to take a moment to recognize the outstanding service we received from Daniel Martínez at Brunetta Wine Bar – McAllen, TX.

From the moment we arrived, his attention to detail was exceptional. He was professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive, making us feel truly welcome and valued as guests. Daniel has excellent knowledge of the menu, offered great recommendations, and was always present without being intrusive — the perfect balance.

Because of him, our visit was more than just dinner; it was a wonderful overall experience with top-level service. You can tell when someone truly enjoys their job and takes pride in providing great hospitality.

We will definitely be returning, and a big reason for that is Daniel’s service. Team members like him truly make a difference.

We went this past Saturday January 24, is a nice place, small but nice, we were a 6 top and our server was exelent good timings and she knew the answers to all our questions, now food wise I had the fry calamary and I said is good so there is hope the rest of the party order some carpaccios charcutery board and some melted provolone got to try the parmesan no so good to dry hard and flavorless but the rest of the party was happy then I saw on the menu eggplant a la parmesana having high hopes on a simple dish but for my surprise it was not good at all it was cold in the center the cheese was not even melted the tomato sauce was OK but the texture of the eggplant was tough and chwey like I could not cut it whit the fork so sad some thing so classic so bad preform I try my wife 4 cheese and spinach raviolis the sauce no seasoning I was looking for the salt on the table but no luck and the raviolis the pasta was good but the filling almost not existing the spinach not to be seen so bland, again the rest of the party was happy whit their food maybe is was not my day.

Reyna gave us a 10/10 service. The restaurant is beautiful, the food was delicious and drinks were splendid.

Perfect date night! Give her a raise, and if you meet Reyna make sure she gives you her recommendations. She really enjoys her job.

They charged my family and I $15 for “holding” our cake at the bar??? Why would they not let us know about that fee? In that case, it could’ve stayed with us in our table, since they didn’t even put it in the fridge.

Unfortunately, this restaurant had a strong terrible sewer odor. We were offered to sit on the bar, but preferred to walk away.

While paying, the card machine showed a cash tip option. Instead of asking or clarifying, the staff assumed I wasn’t tipping. I overheard my waitress talking to coworkers and glancing at us. As I walked to the restroom, another employee loudly said, “No tip is crazy,” clearly directed at me since the restaurant was empty and I was the only recent customer. This was disrespectful and unprofessional.

Food great, service great, is service slow yes because its a dinning experience not fast food. The atmosphere is peaceful, quite, and relaxing where you can actually have a conversation and hear the other person.The smell when you enter, I dont know for sure but I can name 2 other places that are next door to and asian type of restaurant that had the same smell here in the valley.

Brunetta is a beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance. The drinks were delicious and our server was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the price or the experience. There was a strong sewer smell in the dining area that was distracting. I ordered the $40 lobster pasta and it was extremely bland—after adding pepper, crushed red pepper, salt, and parmesan, it still barely had flavor. The lobster was overcooked, tough, and chewy. I ended up sending the dish back because it just wasn’t enjoyable. Hoping they can improve the food quality, because the atmosphere has a lot of potential.

Walked in and walked right out because it smelled of sewer. Unfortunately couldn’t try their food or service. Hope they can take care of that soon. The place looks amazing. (Also, I suggest removing the cricut labels on the menus, they’re peeling off and looks cheap)

This is an elegant dining establishment. The lighting was nice and it definitely had beautiful decor and ambiance—definitely a great choice for couples or small groups. The service here is outstanding, the food was very good. I would have given them five stars, but there was a weird smell that smells like a beauty shop’s permanent wave solution that was present the entire time. If they fixed the smell, I would definitely consider coming back.

Food was great fresh ingredients. Only thing it was 30$ with tax, so I don't mind spending the money but at least make it worth 30$ so the guest don't feel ripped off afterwards just food for thought. great atmosphere and great staff
