I'm so sad. All I wanted for my birthday was a mostachon, a valley favorite. All the bakery cakes are normally so phenomenal, you find yourself craving it for dessert, however, this is what they consider a mostachon. The merguine component was deflated and resembled more of a wafer with a poorly defined border. As if they just poured the batter without using a spring pan and baked it. Its crunchy to eat.The cream cheese frosting and mango were delicious, but this wasn't a birthday cake :( now we have to make a quick trip to HEB for a regular cake. The employee said their "mostachons were different" so I guess she gave my sister a heads up. Other friends said they had similar experiences after I shared mine. Pricey disappointment. Other cakes are great though!
Fraud! They have the option of ordering online for curbside pick up in Google but when i went to the shop, they said they do not do online orders. I already paid online and it's reflecting on my bank account that the payment was made. They were shown a screenshot of the order along with the location and transaction number. The staff didn't even do anything to solve the problem. If you don't do online order, then why put in Google the option to do so. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SHOP! ???

The cakes from this cake shop are undoubtedly delicious. My mom is their biggest fan. She always asks for a cake from their shop every year for her birthday. The cream cheese frosting is really the star of the show. The service is also pretty good. If you're an employee from the city of this location, you can get a 10% discount. I'm sure they have other discounts for other types of special jobs.

Amazing amazing cake I received for Mother's Day w nestle crunch. So interesting and tasty! It was definitely a hit everyone wanted seconds. Next day I had some with coffee and it was even more delicious the cinnamon notes were more tasty and it complemented my Starbucks organic brew. Will post pic later I have it saved on my iPad.

I have been going to Capricious since it first opened and I love the shop! The tres leches cake is one of the best I've had in my life, and every time I am back in town visiting family I have to get one for our family gatherings. The service has always been great- seriously, the people I've seen working there over the years are so sweet and kind to me, so I don't know what Michelle means when she says she was "discriminated" against. I love Capricious and will continue to recommend it to everyone! Gracias por los pasteles y los buenos recuerdos!
