This was my first time ordering a cake from them, which I was pretty excited about, only to make it my last... I had my bf order me one of their special valentine cakes they were promoting. I had been wanting one since 2024, and I finally got to order it. When I saw the two prices listed for the size, I thought to myself damn that's outrageous, but I guess with this "egg shortage," and it's a small owned business I'll give it a try. When my bf picked up the cake, he warned me that I might be upset. Why would I be upset if I knew what I ordered? Well, he was right.
I couldn't believe how freaking tiny that expensive cake was! I have paid $50-$60 for cakes plenty of times, and they were a great size, exactly what I paid for. But this!? This was a slap to the face. Yes, I knew what I ordered and the size, but wow, that was just unbelievable! No cake that small should ever be that price. H-E-B sells the exact same size for $10.00! I got ripped off completely... the cake didn't even taste good... it was dry and not soft at all. But no thinking to myself, let me just give them a shot, I get screwed over. I should have read the reviews before ordering. I guess that was my mistake... I still went through with my order after seeing that Walmart was making that same cake for $24 AND regular size. I should have trusted my instinct cause now I get screwed over, a $50 cake that has no taste ends up in the trash. I hope someone reads this and learns from my mistake.

Super disappointed in my experience with visiting this place that I have loved for the past 6+ years. I went in to order some cookies and the associate who was a tall white young guy didn’t even greet us nor did he ask what we needed. He just stood there and when I asked him about ordering some cookies for Saturday (it was Tuesday) he said super uninterested “uh I don’t know I don’t make the cookies” when I made a face he said he’d go ask, he came out like a minute later and with a rude/uninterested tone said “she said no you have to order them a month in advance” mind you this guy had no idea how many I even needed nor did he ask any questions. The owner was there (I know bc I follow them on instagram and I’ve had good experiences when I went and she was there) she walks out doesn’t even greet us either or ask any questions it was as if me and the two other people I was with were an inconvenience. I don’t think I’ll ever go back after the vibe both of them gave me.

I recently visited CC’s Sweet Bake Shop, and I can confidently say it was a great experience! From the moment I walked in, I loved the vibrant atmosphere. The decor perfectly blends whimsy and charm, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a sweet treat. Now, star of my visit: the strawberry matcha latte. The flavor combination was absolutely phenomenal! The matcha was rich and earthy, perfectly complemented by the subtle sweetness of fresh strawberry. The service at CC’s Sweet Bake Shop by Eric was equally impressive. The staff was warm and welcoming and It truly felt like a community-centered shop where customer satisfaction is a top priority.
Overall, my visit to CC’s Sweet Bake Shop was a delightful escape filled with delectable flavors and a fantastic atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their creative cupcake flavors! Highly recommend this gem to anyone with a sweet tooth.

Terrible service. My wife ordered a cake for my birthday and they messed up and said they got their days mixed up so wasn’t ready yet. My wife also asked for a black and grey cake and looks navy and purple in person. Lastly because they got their days mixed up, and were in rush to ice the cake, ended up making the cake slanted af. Worst cake experience every.

I bought a cupcake and slice of cake. They are okay nothing special. Not dry and not moist just ok. The frosting was buttercream and it was very sweet but not unbearable. The cupcake was 4.50/+tax and the slice of cake was 8$+tax.
The cupcake was regular size and to me it was overpriced.

I placed a custom order of one dozen macaroons a week before my birthday. On the day of my birthday, my order was not ready. I sent my dad to pick them up on my behalf and was infromed that the sales associate who took my order simply “forgot” to put the order in their system. This associate was the same associate that took my order; I noticed that she seemed extremely uninterested during my consultation as i was requesting a specific flavor that had made in the past. Extremely disappointed

By far the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. I’m not kidding. You won’t be disappointed. Tried them for the first time a few weeks ago when a friend brought some to a potluck dinner and I couldn’t get enough of them. The double chocolate is my favorite but they’re all delicious. I had to go buy some for myself and I was not disappointed. I even bought one of their tiramisu desserts and it was also amazingly delicious.

Randomly stopped by and fell in love- iced matcha, pistachio flavored treats, and Taylor Swift music - it's my perfect place!
Plus, the girl who took my order was the sweetest. If I lived in the RGV, I'd be a regular customer.

Came for the first time after recently moving down to this area. The store was nice, clean, and welcoming. The girl behind the counter seemed nice but was very reserved, only saying hello and goodbye.
Everything they had to offer looked great, so we bought 6 cupcakes for 24$. The cupcakes were ok, the flavors were a mixed bag. Like the strawberry lemonade; the cake was a little bland while the lemon topping was super over-powering.
Overall it was decent, but as someone who is used to Gigi's sized cupcakes the price tag was a bit steep at 4.50 per cupcake. They had other items that looked really good, so If I come back I'd see if I can sample anything first.

The cupcakes were okay, but not worth $4.50 each. The actual cake itself isn't particularly flavorful (I tasted birthday cake, chocolate, and pistachio). The icing was good.

Edit: Changing my review to one star due to the passive aggressive response from the owner. You are making food, and your customers will always have preferences.
Don't dismiss a customer that gives you a legitimate review because you disagree with the review.

I'm giving two stars because the lady behind the cupcakes was very nice. We got a cupcake, brownie, and sugar cookie. I got a passionfruit cupcake and the vanilla cake was terrible. It tasted like someone baked flour and water. It had no flavor at all and was severely disappointed. The passionfruit filling was great in flavor bt overall huge disappointment. The presentation was nice It was a bright yellow with edible glitter but of taste was the probably the worst cupcake I've had in awhile. The sugar cookie was equally as bad as it was bland and hard almost old. I know sugar cookies have a long shelf life especially when heat sealed but this one was just bad and bland. The brownie was alright just a basic milky brownie with walnuts. For the price of all 3 items we paid $14 to just be disappointed.
