BEWARE!!! I specifically asked for NO RICE and was given like 3 spoonfuls.

Totally ruined my meal I could not get the rice out.

Will most likely not return to this location.

I usually love chipotle after a long day of work, I was really disappointed in the food and service , I was met with a terrible customer service from some dude, who kept talking with other employees while I was talking to him, he was really rude and gave me terrible portions I could genuinely feed the portion to a bird . The guy who was helping out I asked him for “ cilantro rice “ , he condescendingly responded “WHITE OR BROWN” , like obviously you know what I’m talking the store was a mess, the girl didn’t even offer to give me my receipt or a tray for my bowl, really disappointed, my friends said this chipotle had terrible customer service, and were they right.

I visited at 6:30 pm on a Monday and Honestly I can’t believe how dirty this store was dirty containers on top of dirty containers on the counter it looked like teenagers working no one had a name tag the wonderful lady helping me had to ask 3 times for a refill on the rice I wanted on my bowl (which is the very first thing you add) I waited a good few minutes for that when I asked who the manager was I was directed to a girl chatting with the cooks and cashier idk I was just confused didn’t know that’s what this store stood for

Cancelled my order with no reasoning, called for reasoning and the chat bot they have doesn’t let you talk to the restaurant. So I have no clue if it was cancelled because of lack of ingredients or what.

We had a big group for dinner after our soccer game. The food was really good. We had the carne asada burrito- excellent. Kids had tacos and mixed burrito were very good. Service behind the counter was good. Only complaint was the place was not clean! Tables had not been wiped. Left over food trays were on one table and were left there the whole time we had our meal. Area around the rice, meat, etc had not been wiped up. They were busy but not so busy that they couldn’t clean up.

as soon as i went inside, i noticed a very strong smell of like sewer. i ignored it, and ordered my food, the portions were VERY generous BUT the taste did disappoint me. got powerade and only WATER came out, so i got diet coke instead BUT i felt so BLOATED after that, and it got me SICK after eating. Ive ate at different locations, and it was the first time i felt sick after chipotle, so it is the LOCATION. Other than that, employees were very nice, but would NOT recommend this location. -2/10

Food takes forever, and the floor is a mess, nobody eating inside the building it smells like sewer, food all over the floors, building is in bad maintenance, this place needs a overhaul of employees and management.

Visited the Chipotle at Expressway 83 in McAllen, TX today and was shocked to find they were out of vegetables, cheese, guacamole, and several other key ingredients.

This isn’t a one-time issue—it’s a sign of poor inventory management and a lack of basic preparation. Customers shouldn’t have to waste time, gas, and money just to find out half the menu isn’t available. If you can’t run the store properly, don’t open the doors.

When fully stocked with food, I have a great experience here. But recently, I’ve come to notice I always run into problems with this location having no beans, no meat, no corn, no sour cream, no salsa, no ice, or no soda. This can all be avoided when inventory is done correctly. I choose to come to this location because it’s close to home especially after working a 15 hour shift, but it’s no longer acceptable.

I've gone here several times now and I can't say I've had a single good experience. They're always out of something and the employees are unprofessional. I gave it a few chances in case it was a fluke, but today is the last day I'll be visiting this location. We sat outside for almost 10 minutes after they were supposed to have opened, the employees saw us try to open the door but only stared at us and kept talking to each other. Id be understanding if someone just accidently forgot to unlock it, but they knew we were there and they were just standing there. They weren't busy with prep either, one guy was just walking around with his apron undone with a cup in his hand. Once they did finally open the doors, we were not acknowledged by any of the employees for another few minutes. The smell when you walk in was absolutely awful too, I'm pretty sure it was (or at least hope it was) just burnt food but it genuinely smelled like raw sewage. When we finally got up to order, they said they were completely out of beans and salsa for the entire day. I reluctantly started my order anyway, only to find that the food they had out was burned or looked spoiled. I was so grossed out by the food and concerned about it being spoiled that I actually threw it out and drove to the Pharr location to order there instead. I'm not a wealthy person, I don't waste money if I can help it but i couldn't bring myself to touch the food. I'm not sure what's going on at this location, but it's extremely frustrating to pay for such expensive food only for the service to be bad, half of the food just not available, and what they do have in stock looks like it'll give you food poisoning. I rarely ever go out of my way to leave reviews, but the fact that it was bad enough for me to feel like I had to throw my food out and go to another location I think speaks for itself. I really hope management figures out what's going on, it would be nice not to drive across town when I don't have to but it isn't worth getting food poisoning over. I won't be back until they sort it out.
