i was supposed to get a refund on my soup… 3 weeks ago…. i called after the first week and they said they’d get back to me; never did. then i called back 3 days after and also got told they’d call back… didn’t. call. back. it’s just a refund for a soup. how hard is it to press buttons and communicate?

I’m pretty sure I got served spoiled food today. I ordered the tomato mozzarella sandwich and asked to add bacon. When my sandwich arrived there was no bacon. Turns out the cashier didn’t add it. Since I wasn’t charged I didn’t make a big deal nor want bacon anymore. But when I took a bite of the sandwich the bread was stale, and both the tomatoes and cheese were spoiled. I was disgusted and just couldn’t eat it at all. Grossed me out to the point where I wanted nothing from their kitchen after that. They tried several times to get me to order something else and even brought out the bacon. I get that they were trying to provide service but if the customer says no and refuses any additional food they should respect the customers wishes. I didn’t ask for a refund or a replacement, I simply wanted nothing else at that point.

The ingredients were fresh and the dish was well prepared. I also tried the cinnamon bread, which was delicious and perfectly baked.
For lunch, I opted for the Chicken Pomodori Panini, a hot sandwich with chicken, provolone cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and basil on focaccia bread. The sandwich was full of flavor and the combination of ingredients was excellent. In addition, the coffee they serve is of high quality, ideal to accompany any meal.
The service at Corner Bakery Cafe is another highlight. The staff is friendly and attentive, always willing to help and make recommendations. Even though the place can get quite busy, especially during peak hours, the wait time is reasonable and the service is efficient.
