I'm a native New Yorker and lived in New Jersey too. I love my Diners. And by far the best food coffee n service I've had In almost 2 yrs. In the RGV. I had the chicken fried steak 2 eggs over medium home fries white toast with real butter n coffee didn't want cream they got me a cup of whole milk...Loved everything. ?❤️? PS Get here before 11AM..I'm not the only one that loves this place.
The food was ok, kinda targeted for older people. The refried beans and grilled biscuit were really good though. What made this place really special was Joe’s outstanding service. If you come here ask for Joe. He was on top of his tables, had recommendations and served like his name was on the door. Even after everything he ran outside to return my wallet. The absolute best, thank you Joe!
Love this place! The food and the service are excellent, and they have a menu with lots of options (ie breakfast, Mexican, hamburgers & sandwiches and more). Reasonably priced. I like to eat local-this is a great place to do that!
