Visited this store 12/5 around 7:15pm with my wife and child. We had a decent meal, 2 half chicken combos and kids plate for our 22 month old. I also paid for a cookie. As we had our hands full at the time of paying with cups, utensils, our toddler and his accessories; I didn’t grab the cookie immediately and figured I’d get it after our meal. Once we finished I went to the counter to get my cookie, the cashier said she had see me take one already. I reminded her that I hadn’t taken one at the time of paying and she doubled down on having seen me take one already. At that point I invited all three employees (2 cashiers) and another who I assume is the manager to review the security footage. To which I was met with incredibly hostile attitudes, further accusations of thievery and an incredibly embarrassing scene in front of other patrons. I offered to pay for another cookie despite having paid for one already and was refused service. My wife, toddler and I promptly left. The, I assume manager, followed us to our vehicle and offered me a cookie a nice gesture but as I was quiet upset told her I really didn’t want any longer but suggested they really do review the security footage if they’re going to accuse someone of theft. As a fellow business owner in the McAllen area I would hope these employees receive better customer service training at best.

Have been ordering the turkey package every year for Thanksgiving. Apparently, without telling me, they switched to precut turkeys. Extremely disappointed, they didn’t tell me that the turkey would be precut. I wonder if others who ordered knew their turkey would be precut. Would have appreciated if they made this clear when I ordered. Happy thanksgiving i guess.

I’ve been ordering delivery from here for years and while their food is still great their customer service has definitely taken a massive nosedive. Every time I call to order they tell me they have a brand new system (literally every single time) and so they have to take all my information down over and over, including info you shouldn’t need for delivering food. I’m starting to think perhaps they’re writing down the credit card information and security numbers for their own use. Beware giving out any info over the phone to these people.

Me and my husband tried their chicken for the first time yesterday and it was delicious! My husbands a foodie and had the owner showing him different types of sauces he could add to the chicken lol. The sides are delicious but my favorite were the beans and rice. Juicy chicken and great service! 10/10

Will never come back to this location again. They get my order wrong EVERY SINGLE TIME. They always forget multiple items and/or give me the wrong items. The manager is unnecessarily rude and sarcastic. Super unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable. For how expensive it is it’s just not worth it. Will be going to the one on ware road for now on even though it’s farther away.

Where do I start? If it ain't the friendliness of the employees, it's the homey vibe you get as soon as you walk in there. I mean, everything is made from scratch if not from love. 10/10, do yourself a favor, just one...go eat there. I recommend the enchiladas zuisas combo. The green sauce is perfected! Smooth creamy, poblano, w panela cheese. The charro beans are perfectly smoked, an the ranch on the side w some extra fries are to die for! Better than wingstop i heard. 😋 delicious. Everyone serves you w a smile an leaves you w a full belly. Perfecto!
