A bang for your buck for sure! Visiting McAllen from Wisconsin and after traveling for five hours we stopped at Delicias for lunch and would definitely recommend! The servings are large and tasty, reminds you of “mom’s home cooked meal.”
I have no complaints about the food, it was delicious with reasonable prices. I recommend the food 100%. My issue was with the employee who helped us. She seemed grumpy or upset. ? she forgot to give us the chips. When I asked for the chips she didn’t say anything, she said “oh yeah, what do you want?” And I said “what do you have?” And she just walked towards the chips without answering my question. If you want a nice traditional torta your mami or your abuelita would make, this place has it! It's a very low key restaurant but the food is delicious.
The prices are affordable, the people are nice hardworking people who put a lot of love into everything they offer.
10/10, if you've never been here you need to try it!
