My wife had been excited to try this place after seeing so many photos of the food online. We arrived around 8:00 pm, and parking was a bit of a nightmare. Inside, we were greeted promptly, and even our dog was warmly welcomed—a great first impression. Unfortunately, the service went downhill after we were seated. We waited a full hour before our food finally arrived. Several larger parties around us not only received their meals much sooner but were also given detailed explanations about the meats and even offered white wine if a bottle was open. Meanwhile, we were left mostly unattended—thankfully we’d ordered the 34 oz hibiscus lemonade, because otherwise we wouldn’t have even gotten a refill.
When the food finally arrived, it was absolutely delicious—no complaints there. But the service felt disorganized and inattentive, which really overshadowed the meal.

Best Fresh Delicious food & service was amazing
The food was good, but a bit pricey for what you get.
The atmosphere is great though.

Cute dog menu.
Food was pretty good: I ordered the carnivore burger.
Atmosphere seemed fun, but I was seated in the very back in a dark corner, so I didnt get to experience that aspect.
I bring my dog absolutely everywhere I go. She’s very well socialized, and goes to dog parks daily. My main qualm is I brought my dog, and the owners dog would not leave her alone and even growled at her to the point a waiter noticed. I asked if the dog could be put up, so my girl could eat her chicken patty, and instead of saying sure, he pressed that the dog wouldn’t and he was very well mannered. Lo and behold, I had to feed her on a chair instead of enjoying my food too. I asked again if the male dog could be put up because he kept coming up to my girl, and it was annoying, and the waiter again he was very well behaved and let her annoy me and my dog. Overall, I was annoyed and probably won’t come back with my friends or family.

We went in with a group of 10 for a special celebration, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Diego for your warm hospitality and impeccable attention to detail, you truly made our night memorable. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
The food was really good and the service was excellent. The menu had a variety of different foods that were unique and interesting. Today was my first time here but I'll definitely be coming back.
We stumbled upon this place and fell in love. Excellent food and service! It was a perfect night to be outside and it was decorated really cute.

This place is a real gem! The menu is very unique and the food was delicious. The staff was really friendly and always there to help. The only thing is, it got pretty noisy inside when it was packed. But the patio outside looked really nice and comfy. This place tops our list of favorite restaurants in the RGV.

One of the best local gems in McAllen. Great place to hang with friends and loved ones. Welcoming staff, a cute dog, and flavorful food.

Be prepared for little to no parking in this area. I’ve been discouraged enough to leave before because of it. It just doesn’t make sense to have more seating available than parking spaces.
On my last visit, I chose the patio. While the décor is very nice, it was simply too hot outside and not accommodated properly for comfort. It felt more unpleasant than relaxing.
The concept is supposed to be “farm-to-table,” but I’m left unsure about where much of the food is actually sourced. Provenza Ranch can’t realistically provide all the meats on the menu, and some items seem more like they came from bulk suppliers than a local farm. I would appreciate more clarity and transparency on the menu about sourcing.
When they first started with the food truck at McAllen Park, the food felt fresher and more direct. Now, the farm-to-table claim feels vague.

Absolutely great dinner, perfect for a date night with some delicious food, We ordered the lamb burger and it was delicious. The environment is awesome, the staff is very friendly, good variety of food and for the price it is worth it. First time there but will absolutely go there again! Good establishment overall. Good job guys.

I had the Provenza burger and it was pretty awesome. It is the sole reason why I would come back here. My wife had their ribeye and mushroom quesadilla but wasn’t impressed with it. It had more cheese than anything else. I also ordered their chips and guac and was not impressed with it. It had too many chunks of tomato in it and not enough avocado, giving it a very bland flavor. It is a cool place to dine out but the food was hit and miss, the service was slow and they charge you for water…no tap water available. There is definitely room for improvement here. It is also a very limited menu, as well.

Weak service. I have called them for 3 days trying to make a reservation no answer. I messaged them on instagram only for them to respond hours later saying “ we don’t really do reservations “ so I messaged back “ok that’s fine so do we just go early to sign in for a party?” And they left me on read. guess they don’t want service.
Took a while to be seated, there seemed to be no workers anywhere. Food was delicious though. Music was kind of giving us a headache.

Wow what an all around wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in through the entirety of my dining experience, the service was on point. Everyone was so welcoming and consistently checked on me to ensure that I had everything I needed and inquired if I needed anything more. The wine I had was delicious and came as a suggestion from my server since they were out of what I originally ordered. The chips and salsa were beautifully done - warm and savory with amazing flavors. You can definitely tell it’s homemade. I had the lamb burger with fries for dinner and it was superb. I thoroughly enjoyed the nicely seasoned fries and fresh juicy burger. Flavor is the word of the meal, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I love the humble beginnings story of the chef and restaurant as well. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in McAllen!
