$40 for two breakfast buffets and two coffees? I wasn't really sure if I would be coming back, but definitely not after seeing the bill. Also everything that was available was soggy ?

If there is an hour left to saw, I do not recommend going since they no longer fill and the little they are already taking out is very cold...my children no longer ate dessert because they no longer put anything in. On the contrary, they went to work cleaning because it was obvious that they had already They were in a hurry to leave with an hour left, the service was terrible this time I went. I would definitely change places. That was my experience.

02/25/24 10:59 am.

This review is only for the breakfast buffet. So, I have eaten here a few times, and like a lot of buffets, it is definitely a quantity over quality. Price is about 11 dollars a person, and drinks are not included. Going down the line, you have fruit, menudo, and several types of prepared scrambled eggs with things like bacon, weenies, potatoes, etc. There's also meats like bacon, sausage links, and weiners by themselves, along with refried beans, both with chorizo and plain. Hasbrowns and biscuits. Finally, some cakes and cereal, but wait, there's more. Off the buffet, you can get eggs made to order, pancakes, and waffles. Corn and flour tortillas are passable. So that's what you can get, but is it good enough to want? Yes? Depends on your standards, but I think for all the variety, it's at least worth a try. I prefer this location and layout (RIP DiMassi's) to the one in Pharr. It doesn't feel so cluttered. As for the service? Not great. It's not the worst either, but it's rare for us to eat here and not spend half the time looking for our server for refills or made to order items. Other times we've been brought items and drinks we didn't order. Additionally, though the hours say they open at 7 a.m. don't count on that. Expect the doors to actually be unlocked 10 to 15 minutes later, and definitely don't expect all the food out on the buffet till at least 8. This last time, the menudo wasn't out till 8:20.So it's another middling experience. However, the thing that pushes this place more into the positive is that breakfast is served seven days a week. 6 1/2* out of 10.
