The papusas were good. But burnt at bottom was hard to cut through with a KNIFE i was scraping the metal pan. Was worried I was getting metal shaving in mh food just picked them up and ate them with my hands. If I cut them with the paper them come placed on I would've had paper all in my food.
It was my first time visiting El Itacate Restaurant. I was craving a Mexican breakfast, and my wife had heard good things about the place. I ordered the Reketes plate, and while some parts were good, the chicharrón was disappointing—it was very hard and chewy, which really took away from the dish overall.
My wife had the breakfast plate, and her bacon had the same issue: very hard and chewy. On a positive note, we also ordered the pupusas, and those were good.
