Ordered carne guisada plate and specified I wanted toasted tortilla toasted both sides. El Pato only toasts one side of tortilla they tell me I have to specify both sides. Well order came only one side toasted. The chips tasted rancid. The 1 Oz. Of carne guisada served was majorly nerve endings and jelly like fat. WHERE'S THE BEEF?? The meal with drink cost $11.34. Ridiculous! I came in Hungry and I left hungry. I only visit this place once or twice a year. I will never come back. CLOSE YOUR DOORS . Disgusting Food!

Worst taco I ever got from El Pato, ordered pot egg and cheese. It was dry hardly any egg and l cheese, the potatoes super dry, tortilla was soggy and taco overall super small. Also the orange juice tasted expired. To add insult to injury the lady at drive through was Ryde when I asked for a cup of ice.

The food was delicious. Ordered their daily special, which consisted of one beef guisado taco, one chicken guisado taco, spanish rice & charro beans. Tacos were nice & hot, flour tortillas freshly made, and both guisados were full of flavor. Spanish rice was cooked perfectly, and the charos beans were served in a closed container so they wouldn't spill all over the other items. The young lady who took and gave me my order was friendly.
We went to El Pato for the first and had breakfast tacos. It's a place you order the food at the counter and they bring the food to you. The tacos were delicious, and the hot sauce they provided was homemade and very good. I would go back for breakfast. The lunch menu looked good as well.
My wife and I went out and ordered some breakfast tacos and plate Wasn't the worst but neither the best Food tasted stall, unseasoned, like very little effort was put into it The cashier did awesome greeting us and getting our order in, problem was, we'll he was running orders left and right, on rush hour, even though their were other employees 🙄, none took initiative to help each other, The wait time was brutal, food came out cold, tasteless and even undercooked I'm a sucker for potatoe and eggs but those tacos were just dreadful Environment was calm but dull, no music was played which made it even awkward Definitely a good place to dine in but could use a touch up

I have to eat breakfast tacos here when I am in the Rio Grande Valley. My go to is a flour tortilla with chorizo potato with refried beans and side of green salsa. The service was wonderful. Thank you.
