The spouse and I typically have Firehouse subs on a weekly basis, and always experience first class service, however I do not recommend this particular location in McAllan, TX off the 83 by Mission. How is it that these kids mess up an online order every time. Reading is fundamental! They can never get my order correct, and when you confront them about the issues, the employees answer back with an attitude. I recommend driving a few minutes south for better food and service.

These workers are awful. I watched them make my sub incorrectly (I paid extra to "customize") and let them know, but they ignored me. They lied directly to my face even though I watched them make it and had to show them when they tried to give it to me. I wouldn't care if I didn't pay $3.50 extra. The manager even lied to my face until I showed him. Lay off the Mary j and read a to go order correctly. Smh.

Firehouse was as delicious as ever. The only bad thing was the wait!! It took about 37 mins to get our order. I hope they do something about it, for the sake of those who have an hour lunch!

The staff here acts like customers are bothering them by ordering from them, the location is dirty with food on the floor and sticky tables, and they take forever to make the sandwiches. Please avoid this particular firehouse subs location.

We made a drive at 8:30 to find out that the employees working today, decided to close at 8:30 instead of 9pm even tough their door says 9pm. There were still a guy and a girl inside making signs from the inside that they were closed…. 30 min before their regular hours?

I've eaten many a times at Firehouse subs...I was introduced to them while in GA. They are heads and above local places like Subway...but this locale was severely lacking in the details.I went for lunch...place was fairly empty. I walk up to order and the male cashier greeted me with "Do you know what you want?" Good thing I did...but what type of greeting is that? That being said...I usually get the meatball sub, with the option of sweet n spicy. Blame me on this...I forgot to mention to make it sweet n spicy... however so did the cashier. Needless to say, I received the Italian version which is still good, but it's like getting the fried chicken sandwich when I wanted it grilled. But the most glaring issue I had...this male cashier had somewhat bushy hair..and no hairnet. After taking my order, he was hanging around the sandwich making station. And then he gets the bright idea to start fluffing his hair right next to the sandwiches...quite disgusting if you ask me. Not only will he be sending hair all over, but right along with dandruff or whatever else he might have in his hair. It was quite the turnoff.I will say this...I love the subs here. They come out piping hot...the selection is varied...and the Fireman's sauce is one of the best I've tasted for hot sandwiches. I will drink it on the side with my sandwich. But when you encounter a worker fluffing his hair by the sandwiches...you definitely will not return to that location.

Very lazy and unprofessional, cook was on his personal cell phone while serving food. Cashier was very rude, will never stop here again! I did not get their names but they were two African american employees-plain rude.

My family and I sat over 30 minutes this evening patiently waiting for sandwiches to be made. Our sandwiches finally were done just before 9pm and the girl running the register said we could not eat there as they close at 9pm and asked us to leave. We eat here very frequent and have never been treated this way. I hope this gets addressed.

Great place for your subs .... I personally like that they have three different sizes on their subs ... 6" , 8 " and a 12 " subs .... The 8" sub really hits the spot ... The staff are very nice ... Two thumbs up

Very slow service, quality of food has declined. Got both sandwich orders wrong. On the bright side, excellent selection of soda.
