Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Horrible service ! First the waiter dint want to to get tables together even tho we were a party or 14 ! She said you guys can find another place I’m not moving my tables thankfully another beautiful souls older man help us and got us another tables ready for us , Then I waited in line for the steak with 6 of my party for 15 minutes everyone got tired so they left I stayed waiting with 2 plates for me and my disable grandma while she went to sit and my brother stayed with me the guy gave me a piece and my brother But REFUSED to give me the other piece for my grandmas plates and gave the rest of the line wich mind you there was about 10 people after me already, I OBVIOUSLY got upset because to my knowledge the buffet is ALL YOU WANT TO EAT no where it’s says it limited he got upset and yelled at the manager “me voy a ir “ and left the building , ALSO the Pizzas my 4 and 2 year old had to wait also 25 min that because they had a big Oder of pizzas to take out before they could put some FOR THE BUFFET that we all paid entry for I paid $250 for my party to have had this awful experience on my little brothers birthday!

Food ok but not great. Ice cream machine not working. Bathroom was disgusting. Service was good.

The food doesn't taste good and even if you say it's cheap, well no, it seems like an abuse to me to charge $3 for a soda.

We arrived around 2pm and there wasn't much food or cutlery and the waiters couldn't cope. They were barely refilling, I think they are short of staff. There were too many people. But I do recognize that they give older adults a cheaper price and give away the drink for free. They also give very good promotions to those who arrive early.

Parking: There are certain hours when there is a struggle with parking, it happened to us at lunch

This location in McAllen Texas is the worst golden coral. The place is filthy. Food and hair on buffet and ground in dirt on baseboards. Register area disgusting. I was gonna get some soft serve ice cream, and there was hair stuck to the nozzle.
Many items out and not replaced in the 45 minutes I was there. The only positive was our server.

I'm writing this review to thank and recognize the customer service of one of the team members. His name is Hector, I was amazed by his kindness when I asked him if there was anything spicy. He pointed at the salsa and mentioned it was really good but not so spicy 🔥.. then he offered to make some bothered jalapeno peppers, I told him that he didn't have to do that but he insisted and man they were good 💯💯
Hard to find workers that really care and go above and beyond for the customer.

The food was good,just not enough of it.The mens restrooms,had no hot water to wash your hands,no toilet paper And the smell was discussing.

The waiters and waitresses have to be hunted down in order to get any service from them . Many of them could not speak english. The food that freshness and the quality of the meat was poor. Other than that the Sounded bar was very well . Prices have been increased by about 2 to 3 dollars for the average dinner plate which was higher in cost than corpus Christi Golden corral.
