We love JD and this restaurant in particular on 2nd Street in McAllen. Always clean, food is perfect! However, yesterday’s visit was not good. There were many dirty tables and the floor was dirty and wet. This was not rush hour? This was at 6:30pm. They were also out of 1000 dressing, out of straws, out of vanilla cones. This has never happened??? Is it under new management? Hope this was a one-time problem…

I had an issue with the delivery driver (doordash, not the actual jason's deli drivers). I called and spoke with Jennifer I think and she was so incredibly helpful. I really appreciate her patience and she was able to remake my whole order during a lunch rush.

I will not be ordering food from this Jason’s again. Ordered two managers specials (1/2 sandwich and small cup of soup) for $24.00 and they refused to allow me to get some of those toasts And stated those were only for dine-in. I asked when that changes and she said it’s always been like that which is not true. I have always recieved a small bag to get some of the toasts to eat with my soup. Why would it matter if I ate my food there or took it to go. Wow!

Brought a group of students after Science Olympiad Competition. Easily accommodated us and all were satisfied. Something for everyone on the menu, very pleased with how fast everyone got their food. Will continue to patronize wherever we go because Jason's Deli is always consistent.

I usually love to go to Jason’s Deli but this location is the worst I ever visit. Every time that you visit it something is not right. The order you ask for something and need to check and read the receipt because you can find something you did not ask for. Once they did not have ice cream and they know how kids look for ice cream in this location. Other day they don’t have ice cream cone. And just at 1 pm they don’t have pizza, really? I strongly recommend the manager to look at what is happening here, this is not the Jason Deli I’m use to, very disappointed. Will give 3 starts and not 1 because the others location in the last years I used to go were excellent.

I asked for a cup to get ranch with my meal and was given a small cup but was asked what it was for - I stated for ranch and I asked for a bigger one but they said they would have to charge me - I asked if I would be charged for the bread croutons also. (I ordered a full deli club.) I have always gotten a large cup of ranch to eat with my meal and the bread croutons and never once was charged or told I would be charged. I’ve been coming to Jason’s for over 25 years. Everyone I know eats those without getting the salad bar as their meal. I just spent $40 on sandwiches and you can’t spare bread croutons that will go stale if not eaten.
Walked in... nice picture of broccoli and cheese soup... but not available... wanted my sandwich with sourdough... not available.. no straws for my drink.. no romaine lettuce for my sandwich... oh and when they brought the meal, no napkins included. Had to go ask for them. Finally which is one of the reasons I love Jason's Deli... no ice cream!!! I've never had an experience like this at any Jason's Deli.

I come to lunch here a lot while at work. Its a great place, nice staff, clean, fresh food and one time my card didn’t work the manager basically said it was ok that it was on the house when i was pregnant. It was very nice. I will continue to come here.
