I convinced my friend to try jumping crab over surfing crab because of the high ratings . Boy were we wrong! This was a big disappointment. We ordered seafood boil:2lbs shrimps , potatoes, corns with mild Cajun sauce . We couldn’t even taste the so call Cajun seasoning. The entire meal was overly oily, the shrimps weren’t as tender, they were still on the hard side with no flavor and tasteless , just oil. The only good thing about jumping crab seafood and bar was the waitress who served us was super friendly. But still $45 dollars down the drain for a meal that was inedible. Just an oily meal of heart attack, clog arteries and so much more . How they manage to acquire that much rating is beyond me. No thank you.

I recently had a seafood boil experience at Jumping Crab, and I must say, it was a major disappointment. My party ordered two pounds of shrimp, but we could barely stomach one pound of it due to the overall lack of flavor and quality.Firstly, the shrimp were undercooked, which was not only unappetizing but also a potential health hazard. The lack of seasoning and flavor made the dining experience incredibly bland. It felt like we were eating plain, boiled shrimp with no discernible taste. To make matters worse, the sauce that came with it was nothing more than a bag of oil. It lacked the complexity and depth of flavor that one would expect from a seafood boil. It was as if they had poured a vat of cooking oil over the seafood and called it a day.In an attempt to salvage our meal, we decided to take our remaining one pound of shrimp to Surfing Crab to blend it with their flavorsome offering. It's disappointing when you have to resort to such measures just to get a satisfying meal.Overall, my experience at Jumping Crab was far from enjoyable, and I cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a quality seafood boil. It's safe to say that we won't be returning, and instead, we'll be sticking with Surfing Crab for our seafood cravings.

Let me start off by saying that this place is not over priced and was my first time there. Being military, I have dined all over the world and the food here is absolutely amazing. Probably the best seafood around. This place out performs Pappadeaux's and Joe's Crab Shack for fraction of the price with the same and even more options. Great Asian food as well. I had the shrimp with fried rice. Typically don't do fried rice, but it was amazing. The shrimp is not mixed in the rice, but basks in its own cajun sauce. It is unbelievable. I also would like to mention that my wife ordered several starter items. One being union rings. I don't eat fried onion rings. I hate them but I love onions. To me I dislike fried onion rings because the texture and grease. I ended up eating half the basket. Awesome!!!! All the starter items were Amazing!!My wife and I had the great honor to meet the owner and chat with him and let me tell you, what an amazing person. Beyond friendly and extremely humble. The manager and wait staff was also amazing people. Made you feel like family the moment you walked in. They never miss a beat. You must try this place and tell your friends.I am going to recommend this place to everyone. Including all my military brother's and sister's.They do military discounts people...GREAT JOB!!!!!!

Came to try out the new addition of some Vietnamese entrees they added. The pho was good and broth was light yet with nice beef flavor. The fried rice was good…seasoned nicely….only thing the beef was a tad chewy since it’s a very lean cut they used. The vermicelli noodles with the charred pork and shrimp. Delightful and light. Great marinaded flavor from the pork. Service was friendly from hostess and waitress.

My family brought me here for my birthday dinner because I love crab legs and cold beer. This place was immaculately clean, has superb service and incredible prices. The food was top notch. I highly recommended the crab legs with the jumping sauce. We enjoyed the hush puppies, fried fish and fried rice. The owners made us feel so welcomed. Cannot say enough good things about this place. Quality food for a good price.

Food was great, our server was super friendly, attentive and amazing. We tried the hushpuppies, fried cheese sticks and egg roll apps then ordered some seafood boils, fried rice and a fried shrimp basket. All the food was great, I probably wouldn't order the egg rolls again though. The owner came by to speak with us when we were done and he was super nice, talked about wanting to start up Karaoke/live nights on possibly Thursday and Saturday. Would definitely recommend this place.
