I tried their lunch plate of the day and it was good. It is only a 2 item plate, chicken and double serving of rice. Their tacos, carnitas were good and I will note any other tasty food I pick up. They also have some delicious sweet bread & cookies.

They are so unexpected. They sell zucchini/ squash flowers and mushroom quesadillas, that are so delicious and I haven't seen that type of food anywhere else in the entire Rio Grande Valley. This is a bakery and tortilla shop, that's why I was surprised to find out these delicious quesadillas here. Go try them out!

Their barbacoa is very good, not grease it all and the tortillas are excellent ? 1/2 pound of barbacoa an a pak of tortillas was 10.00 dllrs.

Unfortunately I went on a Sunday and the pan dulce was not fresh. I'll say that was my mistake. They charge by weight.

Fresh and delicious pan dulce, carnitas, various drinks?
We spent $50 for 3lbs of barbacoa and a taco of tripas with avocado and onions were rotten smelled nasty so we had to throw everything away plus the the meat had no flavor and now my tongue is numb from the one taco without onions that I did eat, worst barbacoa place ever...I want my $$$ back!!

I have tried to like this place on various occasions. The first time I think was with the bakery. I bought some pan dulce pero no nos gusto. Another time, I went for barbacoa and it was too greasy. We didnt eat much of it. The last time I went, they took forever to check me out. I had bought a few items. This place is located in a convenient place and that is why I keep trying to change my opinion, however, this last time was ridiculous. I waited for a long time while others were getting checked out.
