I tried their lunch plate of the day and it was good. It is only a 2 item plate, chicken and double serving of rice. Their tacos, carnitas were good and I will note any other tasty food I pick up. They also have some delicious sweet bread & cookies.
They are so unexpected. They sell zucchini/ squash flowers and mushroom quesadillas, that are so delicious and I haven't seen that type of food anywhere else in the entire Rio Grande Valley. This is a bakery and tortilla shop, that's why I was surprised to find out these delicious quesadillas here. Go try them out!
Bought barbacoa and carnitas, the barbacoa had absolutely no flavor, the carnitas were good but I bought mostly barbacoa which was just bland. Not a bad place, but hopefully they change their barbacoa recipes to add more flavor.
