Kurai Sushi & Chinese Buffet McAllen

I really like this place because i feel.like i get a healthy meal at a great price. The staff is great. Remember to leave a tip even though its a buffet. They get you your drinks extra silverware and dessert if you need it. I recommend minimum 10 percent. Pay it forward and it will come back to you ten fold.

Its a well decorated place. Clean, service is polite. However, cooks were a little unprofessional about counting how many plates I ate. This place is labeled as Chinese food but don't let looks fool you. They're missing out a lot of Chinese ingredients. It's flavored according to the mexican cuisine which is not bad at all, but I came here looking to find typical Chinese flavors and they didn't even have mei fun. Not one of my picks for Chinese food, it's more like a snack bar.

I'm critical when it comes to clean restaurant and this restaurant is “Super Clean” the staff is always all hands on deck picking up plates and refilling your soft drinks with a smile, not like in other places so I just had to ask who owns this place ? So the manager told me it is Mexican owned from Tampico Mexico , that explains the cleaning and spotless atmosphere, I highly recommend this place, I drove from Brownsville to have a taste and was well worth it .
