1st, my wife and I really enjoyed the service. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and the ladies did a great job of staying ontop of the cleanliness of the tables. I ordered the menuedo and was very disappointed. I ordered the 32oz and more than half of it was just the juice. Very little substance in the bowl. The menuedo is at a premium price, which I don't mind paying for great food, but one would think that they would make sure that...
la chula express has such a great atmosphere it feels comfortable and welcoming the moment you walk in. the food is a really special reminder of home and honestly tastes like my grandma’s cooking, which makes it even better. the service is amazing too the workers are so kind and welcoming, it makes you want to come back again. i would definetly recommend this to anyone coming to visit the valley.
I wasn’t able to go to Mexico for celebrations this year, so I was really craving that home style - Hispanic home - made by grandma - style menudo. Yall, this place is it! The menudo here is so good and very reminiscent of my childhood in Nuevo León. A very clean menudo with just the right amount of flavors that you can build on with all the garnishments they provide. It’s not super cheap, but you don’t want your menudo to be! Will be back.
