Undercooked my Tomahawk steak and then did not cut it in front of us... but placed it on a hot plate . Disappointed given we were there to celebrate a birthday.

The place is nice and the service is good. I wish they had more options for non beef eaters. I only gave it 4 stars because my husband got a horrible stomach ache soon after eating the 16oz New York Prime and mash potatoes. He took the leftovers home, ate them the next day and he had the same reaction, a horrible stomach ache after eating. So there was definitely something wrong with his food.

My wife and I went for a date without our kiddos for the first time after 2 years, we chose this place and it was worth it! Jose Hernandez our server made the whole experience unique, the food was extremely delicious, and the ambience was perfect for our small date. Truly recommend La Doble M!!

Food was great (loved the tuna tostadas and salsas, plus the fresh bread with cream cheese), but service was slow even when it wasn’t busy. Feels more like an event space now; lots of birthdays and big groups, so not ideal for a small dinner. Parking is a hassle; had to park a street away.
Overall, I’d give it 3 stars. The food was the best part, but the slow service, parking headaches, and more “party venue” vibe keep it from being a true fine-dining spot.
