Food was good but in my opinion overpriced. The service was really good. Friendly and very attentive staff.
We always have a great experience when we eat here. Great food and even better drinks. Ideal for a date or even for a birthday dinner.
Todo estuvo muy bien,el servicio.la comida estaba deliciosa el mesero en todo momento estuvo al pendiente de lo que nos hiciera falta, recomendado.
The seasoning was wonderful, the steak was wonderful the lobster should only be cooked about 15 minutes bc it makes it tough when it is overcooked
Excelent restaurant, the weitress, the hostess, all envoirentment, and the food excelent!!! I love this experience at your place!
Service is great, food in general was good (just couple of exceptions), and I did not like the following: Restaurant is pretty much for Spanish Language as servers did not speak too much English; they don't serve A1 sauce and for American people restaurant should consider keep couple of bottles in stock as they can't forget they are in USA even is close to border and yes, most of visitors are from Mexico. I requested tacos and they were super great 10 of 10. As dessert i ordered sweet corn bread and it was awesome, but my husband's food was not okay, he ordered a steak "well done" and it wasn't well done even we repeated several times to ensure was "well done"; we assume oil used to fry some fries we ordered was for fish as they were tasted as seafood... not good as he does not eat seafood. He also ordered a dessert "double chocolate" and it was awesome, he loved it and compensate the bad taste of meal. Service was fast, servers very friendly, drinks were awesome, we will return for sure.
Incredible food and excellent service. Our waitress Alexandra went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience.
Now 2025- I tried ordering Parmesan fries as an appetizer the waiter said he had to get authorization from the manager because apparently you CANNOT order fries as an appetizer it can only be sold as a side dish when ordering a main dish. 2nd I was celebrating my Sons birthday his picture wasn’t taken to be featured on the screen, there was nothing magical with celebrating a birthday with La Doble M my son had to hold his own candle which is ridiculous, when I specifically called 2 times and made a detailed explanation on open table how I expected the birthday celebration to happen. They completely shattered all the positive vibes I had for this restaurant. Probably will not visit again.

Everything was good except our server seemed like he didn’t really wanna attend to us because we were just two people and we didn’t order a lot. I don’t know if since he was probably not gonna make as much tip with us if that’s why he was like that. He wouldn’t really offer things like for example the birthday shot, it’s supposed to be randomly picked I think on a fortune wheel or something and he just brought a mango shot and also for the presentation for a drink we had to ask him for it.

If you're going to market your restaurant as an upscale establishment with 5 star prices, then you must deliver a dinning experience with impeccable service, neither of which we received last night. Bread service had to be requested twice, The shrimp tacos were sub par and the tortillas were totally uncooked, you can find better at any local taqueria in town for half the price. The staff was painfully unfamiliar with the menu and erroneously provided information that only led to disappointment. My sister asked for a to go box that never came. The atmosphere is extremely loud and chaotic. It just looked Messy and disorganized on every level. Guests had to constantly wave their hands in the air to get anyone's attention. Not what you would expect when the average per person check is $100. And then to top it all off, They add 18% gratuity for the atrocious service they provide and take it upon themselves to not give you proper change back. My bill was $92.17 (for one person) paid with a $100 bill, got back $7. Don't get me wrong, most of us will tip generously when we feel we have received outstanding service but when you are being obligated to pay for inadequate service for an establishment with 5 star menu prices is very disappointing. Needless to say We will not be retuning. If I may make only one suggestion, it would be to Train the Staff Better. They are far from delivering the service and dining experience you are trying to market.

Celebrated Valentine’s Day here, food was cold initially. Sent it back only for them to bring out another cold dish. Chicken was rubbery and they take 20 mins to bring out your drinks. When there was a bar right behind where we sat. Deposit to schedule but won’t credit it back on the receipt and clearly don’t know how to send it back via original payment method. All in all would not recommend.

If you have money to throw, don't go here. The food is OK, but way overpriced, the RGV has much better than this.

The food was good, the drinks were very good as well. The service was extremely overwhelming. I couldn't even handle a conversation without being interrupted every single time. They do their best but I don't like to have people talking on my food or 4 waitresses surrounding my table at the same time. It was definitely too much. I will think twice about choosing this place next time I decide to celebrate a birthday.
Experience was okay. Unfortunately I wasn't seated where I requested to be seated so it was a bit uncomfortable. Drinks were great though and the food was good. Would I go back? Probably not.
I hate that serves don't write nothing now when asking guest for our food choices. When the server brought the food tray with appetizers and the rest of “food” and placed them in front of us , I noticed my chicken en jalapeños was missing. At first I thought maybe he is going back. Minutes later I got worried and asked him about my plate. The server forgot to place my entree. I ended up just eating the appetizer only. SMH.
