First and last time here. Ordered limonada for my son and Jamaica for myself…they were hot, ice melted in less than 5 minutes aside the limonada looking weird and tasting like old rotten limes. Tortilla chips were soggy. Salsa was served in to-go containers making it seemed as if they were leftovers from previous day. Son ordered a papa asada con carne and it was showered with butter!! Extremely greasy and nasty!! Never again.

Today 5-8-25 at 1:12 pm we went to have lunch I got the manager quesadilla and my mom got the thursday's lunch plat which was the carnitas in salsa with rice and beans. I was not able to even tough the quesadilla cause how bad it smelled so much like poultry and had a very foul tase. I understand that it is chicken but I was not able to eat nor even smell the chicken. Th chicken look unseasoned or Im not sure but it was disgusting. My mom ate her carnitas because she was hungry but her meat also tatse kinda gross. Them it was like that dont really know how to handle meats and making them taste yummy, I understand the meats come from animals but they dont have to taste like that dead animal taste. On top of it all tour waitress didnt even ask me if everything was ok with the food being that she passed our table several times and she even asked if I wanted a box to go, which I obviously declined. She didnt have the courtesy to ask because she could clearly tell I didnt even toch the plate. Maybe I should of said something, but I did pay the full bill because I an not and exploiter but atleast to ask would of been nice, Anyways, very disappointed with the food, the service, will ot be going there. Lost a first time customer.

The breakfast here was really good, the Huevos Rancheros were pretty good and for $6.99 you get 2 eggs, fried tortilla, refried beans & hash browns (the bacon was $1 extra).
The eggs were perfectly cooked over medium, the salsa for the eggs was very tasty just a hint of spicy, the fried tortilla under the eggs was okay, the refried beans were good, the hash browns were tasty and crispy, and finally the bacon was thin yet it was slightly crispy they had a good taste.
The tacos were pretty good, the barbacoa was delicious.
The flour tortillas are store bought but the corn tortillas are homemade I believe.
Overall I would recommend the breakfast here, and do see myself returning.
Old lemons served to customers, always a bad sign to whats coming - I ordered birria and barbacoa, birria de res taste was bland, and barbacoa tasted bad, condiments too strong. Sad presentation of the plate with the lemons, cebolla and cilantro. Service was good, server very friendly, music was high but not loud, environment ok.
Exceptional breakfast tacos. In some cases the waitress may only speak English so have Google translate ready if you don't speak any Spanish. I always get pickled onion and ranchera sauce as well as pico de gallo.
First time here. We saw Burria Tacos on outside sign & decided to check it out...THEY WERE DELICIOUS! We had Burria de Res tacos. Waitress was very attentive. Clean restaurant. Will definitely return ?

He had a tan eyelash. And the mole chicken was old and tough. Bad service. And anyway they charged me and just said sorry for the misery. Because the dream did not apologize

My husband liked the menudo, it had a good flavor. My green enchiladas were ok, and my favorite was the rice! The chips and salsa can definitely improve. The salsa was very watered down.

It was ok. The bistek tacos were good can't complain. The breaded shrimp was good. Service could be alot quicker though.

Carnitas were up to par. Menudo bowls need much more flavor so it doesn’t taste so diluted.

Delicious, home cooked, authentic Mexican food at this cozy & clean, neighborhood restaurant. Friendly staff and large menu. Lots of soups, tacos, burritos, enchiladas & more. Reasonably priced and affordable. I highly recommend if in McAllen.
