Marcos is usually one of my favorite places to order from, the pizza is always delicious! We recently moved to a new neighborhood and placed an order for delivery online, order went through, got notification it was in oven and then on the way… was supposed to be delivered at 7pm, i get a call at 6:55pm from the driver saying that they can’t deliver to us and we can just cancel the order.. I called the store to speak to the manager asking why we got a call 5 minutes before it was supposed to be delivered and not 40 min ago when we placed the order, and he hung up on Me. When my husband went to call back and ask for the manager and the name cause i couldn’t believe he hung up on me he was VERY RUDE again and when we told him we thought the way it was being handled wasn’t right he just hung up on us again. I haven’t got a refund yet, never received dinner and being a restaurant manager for over 20 years i would never speak to a customer and be so dismissive. You just lost a life long customer because of Elvio at store 5211 on 10th street in McAllen Texas. Very disappointed

I recently read very positive online reviews of Marco's and decided to give the McAllen location a whirl. Started off with just a basic, large pepperoni pizza to try things out. I ordered it online at 10:30 a.m., and picked it up when the store opened at 11 a.m.. Unfortunately, the pizza was simply awful. The ingredients were very thinly spread (paper thin) and did not go out to the edges of the pie. There was virtually no sauce or cheese - only a hint of it. The crust was extremely dense and hard to chew, as if were old or something went wrong with the dough. Wow, we were so disappointed and do not plan to go back.

I am so disappointed with Marcos Pizza . I tried calling to order for a pizza and the person said please hold and left the conversation not letting me say anything which is completely rude and disrespectful to a customer. I had been waiting a long time on the phone and nobody ever went back to the line. I had to hang up. Such bad customer service. I truly hope you all fire the unprofessional workers you have and get workers with good customer service.

well first I ordered a pizza extra sauce ... no biggie right? well I opened the pizza to an OBNOXIOUS AMOUNT it was EXTRA AND HEAVY ON THE EXTRA SAUCE ... it gets remade with ABSOLUTELY NO SAUCE.. 🤣 wooow then you are rude on the phone.....

You know I always felt pretty good about Marcos. But this last several times it has not been up to standard. One thing that drives me nuts is when the sauce, cheese, and toppings do not go out to the edge of the pizza. Why? I'll show you. In the photos, you can see that these medium pizzas are pretty much 12 inches in diameter. But the sauce and cheese and toppings fall egregiously short of the distance in some places an inch away from the edge and in others 2 inches. So I have used 1.5 inches as an average distance away from the edge of this pizza. Notice that both pizzas have the same issue. Using the area of a circle formula calculator from Google, all we need to do is get the area of two circles. One which is 12 inches in diameter and another which is 10.5 inches in diameter and then we can determine what percent of the pie that one and a half inches is all the way around the circle. It turns out to be 23.6%
So what does this mean? It means I bought two pizzas, I paid full price for them plus delivery plus tip. But I only got 76.4% of what I paid for.
And it happens too often.
If I order 4 times let's say within a few months time frame, after that fourth pizza, I will have paid for four pizzas but will have only gotten the toppings, sauce, and cheese of 3 pizzas.
Some people say that approaching issues this way, especially something as mundane as a pizza, is being a little over the top.
But we are not made of money and the cost of life is not going down. Either you're doing this on purpose to save money which is cheating your customers. Or your team doesn't know how to make pizzas to completion which is literally what you do.
I am jumping off the Marcos bandwagon for somebody who knows how to put the sauce and cheese and the damn pepperonis all the way out to the edge of the pie.
Just know the ninja turtles would have come down there and thrown the pizza back in the restaurant through the drive thru door

The Pepperoni Magnifico Mushroom Pizza was excellent. Very Very Delicious. No comparison to other pizza chains. The best! Linda and all the clerks are very very nice pleasant and helpful. The prices are extremely reasonable. Very pleased. Thank you
