Loved the Pork Tonkatsu. Fried Rice was different, but after the first bite, I loved the flavors. Definitely a spot to try out it you love ramen

Just tried Motoramen via grub hub. My favorite ramen broth is tonkotsu. And that is what I ordered, but it's not true tonkotsu broth. The broth itself isn't bad, but it lacks the creaminess rich broth that tonkotsu is suppose to be. The pork belly isn't soft and fatty, but it's meaty. Overall I'm disappointed that the tonkotsu broth was lacking flavor, but my ramen cravings were satisfied. Oh and I also had the Japanese street corn, that was delicious!

I have no complaints about this place. They have complimentary bowl for pets. The pork is absolutely delicious and so so sooo soft. Spicy is pretty spicy but again so delicious you can't stop. The presentation is pretty cool and the customer service is exceptional the Cali guys were really friendly. Oh and it's a BYOB establishment so take your drinks but if you forget don't worry they'll share some complimentary beer left behind by other clients.

Definitely my new favorite restaurant! The service and food is excellent. I had the spicy pork ramen and the pork belly was cooked to perfection. It's BYOB, so that's a huge plus because you don't have to spend $4 on a beer.

The ramen is excellent and the employees are awesome. I read the negative reviews and they sound like a nine year old at the ice cream shop for their first time. One guy complaining his noodles were stuck together when everyone knows you can't get ramen to go and have it be good like it is when its served...stupid.

The owner and staff were really friendly and really nice. The service was great. That makes me feel kind of bad about this review but... it's overpriced and tastes just okay. The street corn is $6... if you're paying six bucks for a small ear of corn, it better be great or at least good. It's not. It has a weird fishy flavor. The flavors don't go well together in my opinion (and I love odd combos) but to each their own. The ramen is $11.50 per bowl and also just okay. A friend described it as 6 out of 10 and I think that's accurate. Again, the staff was really nice and I understand that prices are usually higher for food trucks but there are tastier and better priced food truck options out there.

Had the lobster ramen when they came to the Valley Nature Center. It was delicious. Huge piece of lobster. More that I would have ever expected. Broth was flavorful and seasoned well. I would have liked to see proper home made noodles and maybe a few mushrooms. Other than that? It was absolutely great. Also tried the duck wings and gyoza. Both were on par with the ramen. Looking forward to trying more items from the menu.

Ordered the street corn $6, pork belly ramen $11.50, and lobster tail ramen $16 Pros: Good flavor Well cooked ramen Great premium ingredients Served relatively fast Good quantity Very friendly staff Cons: A bit salty A bit pricey (ramen bowl $12-16) Plastic utensils Small menu options (it's a food truck) Few places to sit

Lovely service. The lady taking orders was very friendly and offered good recommendations. The food was prepared at a good pace and was kindly delivered to me even though I was sitting at a different food truck. I found the food to be very tasty and I enjoyed the pork belly. It was super filling. My only complaint is that I think it is over priced. I feel like $8.95 would be a more appropriate price. But as they are the only ramen place in town and they seem to have a following I guess They can charge what they want. Nice change up from all the taco trucks.

The pork tonketsu was good. Would've been nice to get another piece of pork but I'm just a carnivorous person. Broth was good and the portion of noodles was more than enough for the broth and size of bowl. The pork was a good half inch thick and seared or fried quickly before serving perfectly. The chili sauce on the table was really salty, which was my mistake for putting so much so spicy lovers beware. I'm sure people complained about the wait, but I was here on business and they warned me before I made my order. They even called me to let me know when it was ready while I walked around/went back to my hotel across the street.

First off, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Being outside by a bunch of food vendors it was nice. I have to admit though the food was a bit disappointing. My girlfriend and I went around a week ago and both ordered the spicy pork ramen. The broth itself didn't have so much flavor and wasn't really spicy at all. We were given a small serving of what I'm guessing was a chili paste to mix into the bowl of ramen but even with that it was no where near as spicy as we had hoped. The pork had a good flavor to it and was properly cooked but it was just one big slice of pork belly and was mostly fat. What made the dish for me though and is the only reason I'm giving three stars is because of their half boiled eggs. Each bite was an explosion of flavor and I only wish the rest of the dish complemented it. Overall motoramen is a decent place for some ramen if you don't want to break the bank. Our meals with drinks came out to $24, make note that there is a $1 fee for paying with card. If you don't mind spending a bit more for a good bowl of ramen I recommend Yasukes in McAllen. Their spicy pork ramen is amazing UPDATE: Went again this past weekend and the ramen was a lot better. A lot more flavor in the broth and noodles however this time the eggs I'm guessing weren't marinated because they just tasted like regular half boiled eggs. Other than that still a worthy place of stopping by!
