Every visit never disappoints. Food is great and so is the staff! Mike Leo checks on us to make sure everything is going smoothly, and our bartender Juan is amazing. He’s attentive and the service is fast. I strongly recommend spending your happy hours here or a little weekend night out. You’re guaranteed to have a fun time!

I love this place! I work at Macy’s and I’m tired of the food from the food court so I come to OAK all the time and they have great food and is cheap! The water fountain drinks, lemonade and water are horrible to be honest . I’m someone who can’t stand the cold and I’m always freezing here so if you can’t tolerate cold weather bring a sweater. Besides that the servers are nice specially a werita with color eyes she’s so sweet. They also have great alcoholic beverages. If you come in the afternoon it will be dead so if you’re trying to enjoy a calm dinning then here is your place to go. At night it’s busy usually saturdays.

I travel down for work, and this was my second time stopping here for dinner. My first visit felt a little more welcoming than this one. The burger was really good but the portion size for fries is like a kids meal.

I sat for a minute before anyone actually took my order and that was kind of concerning to me because they really weren't bustling with customers.
I would go again because it's close to where I need to be for work and it was good but they could definitely step their game up with friendly, welcoming service.

I’ve been to all the different oak’s around the RGV & this one is my favorite one hands down! The service is fantastic & the food is amazing, especially when the wait is non existent. Make sure you ask for Crystal she’s the best of the best!

The atmosphere at the bar is fantastic, making it a great place to hang out. However, I was disappointed with the lack of training among the bartenders. During my visit, I noticed that all the bartenders were consistently underpouring drinks. I had to order a shot and mineral water on the side, along with an ice cup, to make up for it.

The real issue came when I ordered a tequila shot for my ranch water. The bartender served an underpoured shot, which was confirmed when security stepped in, took the tequila back, and measured it in front of us. Indeed, the shot was underreported.

While the bar has a great atmosphere, the lack of proper training for the staff is a significant drawback.
