This was our first time coming here, and right off the bat when we walked in it smelled delicious. The pho was great and also huge. The service was awesome. 10/10 would recommend. We will be coming here again for sure!!!

I love Pho Houston, but these past year, we have been very disappointed of the Shrimp Spring Rolls. They are not as they used to be. Now, they are just lettuce & vermicelli with a diced shrimp. The peanut sauce doesn't have peanut butter in it; pretty disappointing. However, the Pho Beef soup was still good. I suppose, I won't be eating there as often anymore. :(

Good spot with great fat options. The portions are big and delicious, definitely a good spot if you’re craving something warm like a big ol soup!

Flavor, comfort, crunch, and sustenance in a bowl. Pleasant and filling. I ordered the #8 with a side of brisket soup. The broth in the brisket soup was pure magic.

Good chow but OMGOSH.. Expensive isn't even the best word to use. A flight to ?? might be cheaper.. We were on this end of the Valley and I do enjoy Pho and eggrolls.. Pho Houston piles on the flavor and the portions are large enough to bring a few eggrolls home to the casa. Super friendly service with a smile. The food comes out fast, hot and full of Asian flavor. For being in the Valley, it's pretty good stuff.. I'd do it again if we're in the McAllen area..Plotted..Scouts Out.

For a bit over $14 I received the smallest amount of noodles and chicken meat as my ga. Not worth the drive for this subpar dish that was not even close to as what was advertised. They really dropped the ball on a dish that should be filling at best. Definitely never going back. Rip off!! ??‍♂️

Oh, wow. Has it really been three months since I last churned out a five-star review? Pho Houston in the heart of McAllen really broke me out of my funk.My family and I dropped by here during our Thanksgiving weekend excursion to the Rio Grande Valley, and yes, the name had a lot to do with it. As it turned out, the owner(s) moved south from Houston.I've had my fill of Chinese and Japanese cuisine near the border, but it was my first time having Vietnamese far away from home. The beef noodle pho I had on what was a wet, dreary afternoon did its job of keeping my stomach satisfied for the rest of the day. I loved how flavorful and aromatic it was. Everything from the beef chunks to the noodles were fresh. The egg rolls I had beforehand were an excellent way to start lunch.Since we head toward these parts every year when the weather is cooperative, it's likely a second visit in the future will happen.
