Very nice small restaurant on a busy corner. Modern industrial designed dining area. Very clean with plenty of sitting. We were greeted promptly and the menu was explained when we ask questions. My husband ordered the original Philly and fries and I ordered the chicken Philly. We haven’t had a New York Philly, so we have only our experience at places like Penn Station Subs, which I believe is a North East restaurant, as we are from Ohio. Philly 77 menu offers a wide variety of unique choices in sandwiches and deserts. The food was amazing and its a restaurant I will return. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed.
Best cheesesteak sandwiches in the rgv. First time I ordered I received the wrong thing, but I ended up enjoying the sandwich I got so much that it's now my regular order. The bread roll is perfect, the steak is soft and juicy, and the fries are just as good as everything else.
