From all coffee shops this place has the best expresso.

The service here was horrible. The girl closing who took my order at 7:20pm had already turned off the machines and said she couldn’t warm up my pastries I paid for and told me that they closed at 8pm. Making me feeling rushed to eat my cold pastries. The drinks were also very watered down. Definitely don’t recommend. The lady was extremely rude!!!!!!!!

I love the ambiance, and the cozy feels of this place. Came to work and enjoy coffee in the morning n it was nice quite and relaxing.

I’ve been going to PJs regularly for a few months now and I have to say it’s the best! Really underrated. Staff and the music are always nice. Feels like home, definitely a must try🤍

I tried the Southern Butter Pecan flavor once and it never came back in stock. In fact, I've stopped by five times, and not only is the flavor unavailable, but they're also often out of XL cups and lids. Last weekend they were out of vanilla, hazelnut, and butter pecan. Disappointing to say the least.

I like to come here and unwind. Read, spend time on computer, text and call friends…..nice drinks and pastries and service. Comfortable furniture. Nice music. I’m 72, and I get to hear songs I might not ordinarily choose …and I enjoy them…..they also play old songs I’m familiar with.❤️

I have been waiting for a new location closer to me to open in Edinburg, but today, I really was craving beignets and was over in McAllen, so I stopped in.

I did not buy anything other than the beignets, but I've heard from family members that PJ'S coffee is very good.

I have had beignets at Café DuMond in New Orleans and at Coffee Call in Baton Rouge (both are considered the best), and while these were smaller, they were excellent. I am so happy we finally have a place in the RGV where I can find decent beignets.

The restaurant is very nice, with pleasing, beautiful decor, positive vibes, and comfortable places to sit, study, work, or just chill and enjoy friends.

Everything was quite clean, orderly, and the service was friendly and prompt.

The prices are competitive with similar coffee places.

Next time I'll order a coffee too. But since I live in a household whose diet is heart smart, sugar-free, fat-free, and gluten-free, the beignets were a little bit of heaven today.

We drove 25 minutes to enjoy the Beignets but we found just three pieces was around 330pm, not sure if they make it just the morning lol
One of the machine was too loud sound like the train from the 1900s, can't enjoy my coffee and the three pieces of the Beignets ? add the Ac doesn't feel cold. I hope this issues will be resolved soon......

Our favorite place for coffee and conversation. Best decaf & mocha coffee, great & friendly service. Never disappoints. ****

The girl at the drive thru window was nice and helpful, she let me know they did not have velvet ice or cheese for the breakfast sandwiches at the moment. I asked about a matcha with lavender, she let me know they do not offer lavender and offered other flavors. I decided to add honey but unfortunately the matcha did not taste good, and did not look like matcha- every matcha I've had is green, this one was brown. The breakfast sandwiches I ordered did not have much flavor. We also ordered an iced lemonade that tasted like water with a hint of lemon. I like trying different coffee shops and was really hoping to like this one so I was disappointed. The second star is for the kind service.

Loved the decor. Service was great. Very little wait time. The coffee she made, which was recommended by the barista, was so good. Definitely will go back.

I read a review about PJ's that said they had great coffee so during our trip in Texas we stopped by and will 100% agree that if you are looking for great coffee, stop in and they will take care of you.
