Great Mexican style chicken on the grill, seasoned just right, French fries, macaroni salad, corn tortillas, pico,gotta go,placing an order now,buen provecho.

Honestly when I went to McAllen, I was expecting to eat some of the best Mexican food of my life. Every sit-down restaurant I went to disappointed me with dry, overcooked meat.
The best meal I ate in McAllen was honestly from Pollo Palenque! The chicken was so flavorful! This place is like El Pollo Loco, but so much better! The fresh salsa bar and the free chips seals the deal, and my sides of charro beans and mac salad were both great as well (even though the mac salad had ham in it and I'm really not into that, it was still good).
Seems crazy to say about a fast food joint, but if there was one place make a point to eat at again if I'm in McAllen, it's here.
Really could use a good scrub-down, though. Only complaint is that the place is rather dirty.

Very good chicken and ribs, slightly expensive, but worth it!! The sauces are very good, I only recommend some remodeling of the place and it looks old and the bathrooms are dirty! "Bon appetit my friends"
This service is terrible, I don't like to compare but it has to be said to begin with, the man who took my order is in a bad mood, ask for a break or not come to work, then he brings me the plate like this without anything, everything is simple when every time I go to the one in Mission I don't They give them in Plancha and well I asked him and his answer was there is no…???? Wow, what a disappointment of a place, but in this case I clarify that point and it seriously seems like he was doing us a favor. EXTRA TERRIBLE SERVICE
