RGV Cup Cake Factory is the spot. Every time I walk in, the staff is cheerful—always brings good vibes. The place is spotless, which is a big deal for me. But let’s talk about the cupcakes. They’re fantastic. Now, don’t judge, but I’m a fan of the day-old ones. There’s just something about the texture—it’s like day-old bread, but better. My go-tos? The red velvet and marble cupcakes. Seriously, this place nails it every time.

Came here for delicious cupcakes, and found out they also have mostachon, cheesecakes, and macarons! Very friendly staff helped me decide which cupcake variety would hit the spot. ?

This is a constructive criticism review in hopes that you fix this ASAP as we LOVE your cupcakes:
Your cupcakes taste like plug-ins. We are not the only family that’s seems to think so . My cousin and sis also went by your location and thought they tasted like “raid “ when I mentioned that to me they tasted like plug-ins they totally thought they couldn’t pinpoint the taste but yes , plug ins it was . They are ALL penetrated as we always get the dozen in several flavors . Please take this comment in consideration. We LOVE your cupcakes .

Was there today for the first time and was very excited to try it out. Cupcakes are a bit dry but they are ok. The service on the other hand is horrible. The guy at the front just stood there and stared at me as I asked questions . When I asked if I could order with him he rolled his eyes and said yes with a really annoyed face. I will definitely not be returning.

Strawberry Fields cupcake was good but dry and fell apart in the box. I had to scoop it out to eat it and was super messy. Actual shop is gross and uninviting --the floors were so sticky, as if they used the wrong cleaner. The bathroom is messy and NO SOAP. When brought to the associates attention, she said "oh yeah, it's broken." There is literally a BBW next door...go and get some soap! The ice cream in the freezer is old and covered with freezer burn. Will not go back and do not recommend.

This is a cute shop but wow was it dirty the floor was so sticky I can still fell the stickiness on the bottom of my shoe while I’m walking in another store. The bathroom was a mess with no soap, the cupcakes are pretty good but the establishment just feels filthy to be sit and enjoy your cupcake. Honestly it wasn’t busy at all the employee could maintain the shop a lot better instead of entertaining herself on her phone.
