I went in for a latte but the barista never acknowledged me. She was cooking on the griddle so I gave her some grace and perused the menu. I took my time, like she took her time. I decided on something that sounded delicious and waited another 5 minutes. Still no acknowledgment ? I turned around to look out into the foyer of the library and I noticed a mpl employee picking up her DoorDash order from the delivery person. She had ordered Starbucks ? I decided to leave. Why would I order from R&S if the mpl employees don’t even order from this cafe. BTW she still never acknowledged me

I always make time to come here before I leave or when I get to the library because the food is soo goodie, I especially enjoy the variety of breads they use on the sandwiches plus the service by the ladies here is also very welcoming & warming. Totally recommend stopping by this coffee shop when visiting the library or even just to come here & enjoy some lunch.
Vegetarian options: They have some goodie sandwiches options if you don’t eat meat.
Dietary restrictions: Different milk options for coffee & meals.
Kid-friendliness: I’ve been coming with My toddler since being a 2yr old & started our homeschool journey & definitely very welcoming vibes for him as well.
