Took way too long for 1 order. More than 40 minutes waiting in line. I saw only 1 person in the front not sure how many in the kitchen. Need more staff. Because of the wait I had no time to eat. Just enough time to get to work. Horrible.

This place sucks, my tacos were super greasy and gross!! The meat had been sitting in oil for too long and was not fresh!! The baked potato wasn’t even cooked properly and it was lukewarm. The charro beans were a little undercooked!! This used to be my favorite place to eat!! I left the tacos on the table because it was too gross to finish!! This is a terrible place to eat, Do not come to eat here!!! Que tristeza de lugar y la comida esta horrible!!! Highly recommend you stay away from this place!!!! i have gone 3 straight Fridays at around 10pm and they constantly have an excuse that they ran out of something . 1 time they didn’t have potato and the other 2 they were out of all meats. How are you gonna be a taqueria and not have meat ?♂️ lousy restaurant that i used to love went downhill, no wonder it’s always

We waited over 35 minutes for our food and when we finally got it, it was cold. It seems as though they were understaffed because the place was a mess. Every other table had not been cleaned, the beverage area was a mess, and when we asked for our beans, they said they were out. It was just so very disappointing.
Good price for a family pack, includes 4 orders of 6 tacos, 4 beans, 4 baked potato and 4 fountain drinks. I also ordered some Panchos because I thought we were not going to have enough food.The beans were not all that good but well. Tacos and salsas were very good. Baked potato tasty. Panchos good. As I was reading other comments with wait time, our food was served in a timely matter. Good customer service, clean facility. I think management has been reading reviews and have been improving.

Every time we come down to the valley from Dallas we eat at this location, unfortunately this past weekend will be our last. Food was served to us 30 minutes after we ordered and they hardly had anyone. The food itself was HORRIBLE, tortillas were over cooked and I'm not sure what kinda meat that was but it was gross. The staff looked soooo overworked and more than likely under paid. Oh and not to mention, of course over the years the prices have gone up, you can't charge more and lower the quantity of your food.

This use to be the place to get good tacos, my husband is a loyal customer but every time we have come to the 23rd location in McAllen our service is horrible.The wait in the drive through when there are no cars is ridiculous. There can be zero cars in the parking lot and we waited for 12 min just to get our order taken.This location needs better management it’s so sad a long running restaurant is going down due to lack of good service.

This location has terrible customer service. The guy who is in charge of taking orders left me waiting at the drive thru for more than 25 minutes without taking my order. I pulled up to the window just to have him walk away and never come back. This place needs to do better.
