10/10+ fantastic customer service. I came in a little too close to closing time, and the staff were so friendly and took my order. They made my order fresh and not reheated! When restaurants go the extra mile for their customers, it makes a lot of difference. I eat junk food as if I am on the My 600lb Life show, and the only vegetables I’ve had in the last 10 years are from the Kale Salad at The Cookshack. Omg that kale salad is the best kale salad in the world period. If they had a restaurant closer to north McAllen, I would eat there everyday. Try this place!! It’s a must!
1st time visitor here!Service 10/10 - We were greeted as we walked through the front door. Staff took the time to explain the menu and what was recommended. Table service was pleasant, staff came to the table appropriately and in a timely manner to ask if anything was needed. Table service also included them taking the finished plates away when needed.Atmosphere 10/10 - Awesome vibe, great light fixtures, and appropriate country music playing. (Not too loud either)Food 8.5/10...
