I stopped by with a friend a couple of weeks ago on a Friday and we had a good time. We got there early enough to play pool without having to wait, and it was pretty cheap (I think it was $5 per hour). They also had a live band playing in the back, and while I didn't really check that out, I know it's one of the things the Flying Walrus is known for. All in all, a fun time!

I’ve traveled all over and been to bars all over the United States , this is one of my top 5 bars all time. The food is solid had the wings , the service is pretty good. Went on a night with metal/Alt rock cover bands excellent venue for music. had the best time ever. Drinks are a little expensive but it’s safe clean and the people of the valley are extremely kind to a gringo , in fact some of the nicest of anywhere I’ve been in the United States 😂 highly recommend

I recently visited this place and was disappointed with the service. The staff member working near the pool tables, named Andy, was very inattentive. Several customers, including myself, were trying to order food and drinks, but he seemed more focused on chatting with his regulars than actually helping the people who needed service. It was frustrating having to wait so long just to get his attention. I really hope they improve their customer service because the environment itself has potential, but the experience wasn’t great.

I'm cracking up. My of age friend (27) was denied drinks when she had her paper permit and phone photo and now TFW had its permit revoked (as per The Benchwire), oh the irony. Drinks were alright.

Definitely host your event here instead of paying $500 for The Gremlin which is Ghetto and has a scandal going on over a fight that took place with two toxic rocket lady's assaulting a guys girlfriend and also another scandal involving a groomer who hangs out at gremlin.
The gremlin is known as the fight club when it comes to metal another reason to go Walwus.
Moving back to Walwus
First the Music is zoned into 3 different acoustic zones between the Pool-Room main bar and event in the back
Second the Bartenders are respectful and make good drinks.
Third the owner and manager and respectful people and don't hold grudges over minor things and do believe in giving people chances..
The food is also amazing better pizza for $20 than paying $12 or so at Gremlins and getting it burned and crispy.
