The Quarter New Orleans Style Kitchen & Tap Room

We first visited this restaurant in February and periodically visited. It is located in the middle of a strip. Is simply decorated with New Orleans themed. We have tried a variety of menu items and they have all been great! Poor boy (fish or oysters), tacos, shrimp étouffée, and more. The wings are the best, especially with the special! The service is good, however not enough wait staff. If you go on Tuesday or Wednesday, expect to wait a bit.

The food was disappointing. I wanted jambalaya empanadas but they didn’t have the dough or whatever so I ordered boudain balls and they tasted like fried nothingness. Just straight fried balls and I understand boudain balls are fried but come on, where’s the Cajun flavor? My husband ordered chicken fried chicken and it was meh. Definitely an underwhelming presentation and the vegetable medley that looked similar to the frozen veggies I buy at HEB was bland! Also I appreciate a live band but damn it was loud! I didn’t even want to talk to my husband due to the energy I would expend yelling at him to communicate!

LOOK ELSEWHERE TO EAT‼️🚨

Literally only come here if you want to be treated the worst by food waiters. And at the end expect a good tip and when you aren’t inspired to do so as a result of their poor food service they’ll harass you and even force add a tip on the receipt. They’ve been doing this for years.

All you seriously have to do is be a good waiter if you want a good tip. I tip everywhere else, but these services are just plain outright rude and don’t do their jobs and expect you to pay them for it.

Variety of food, live music, good service.

Most nights have a live band. Great atmosphere. FYI loud environment due to live music. Food is good,lemon pepper wet wings are awesome.

Great food, good drinks, i feel the prices should be listed for all cocktails not just some,
My only complaint is $1.00 charge for each wing to be a flat is crazy to me and should have been mentioned when i ordered and asked for flats only.

They have good deals on daily specials everything was good but the server was rude and not very good at his job if you like loud music and good deals on good food definitely the place for you

Was sitting there for 30min made eye contact with 3 servers after sitting there for 30min new customer came in they got served first, so we just left. I get it was busy, but we sat next to the bar and register. :/ disappointed, but oh well. Music was really good tho. Service was terrible. Went to the gremlins instead
