Well looks like they have a new policy of not serving to fill the plate or bowl. First they took away the panini sandwich, then the half a chicken now the salmon is gone! What is left is some hard dry white chicken and some lamb that is ok but very small round pieces were served. My husband ordered a full salad and the bowl was half empty. We left hungry and our lunch bill was over $40! They always have new employees when we come and we come about every two weeks. Not sure if we will return as the menu has been stripped. Too bad because the salad dressing is very good and the cauliflower rice as well.

I don't know where the average of 5 stars come from! Valley people normally have a very good palate but apparently not with the food at this place.Because the restaurant was uncomfortably cold, We chose to eat outside which was unfortunate because of very loud music coming from the restaurant loudspeakers and because of the flies and gnats that are prevalent this time of year.Although there was outstanding service at the front counter, this is the only good thing I can say about this restaurant. The food was simply horrible. We made four orders. Two steak shish kabobs, one falafel tomato sandwich and one Greek Chicken Pita wrap. Each plate came with a side. We chose roasted vegetable, cauliflower rice and Tumeric Rice. I forget the third. All of the food was lukewarm (as in sitting around) not cooked to order. Grilled onions on all of the platters was old.The steak on the shish kabobs was sinewy, under cooked, tough, barely warm and not edible. These shish kabobs had been sitting around for us to order, they were definitely not made to order. At the price we paid for the shish kabobs, I expect quality meat and fresh vegetables, not something sitting around waiting for someone to order. This is inexcusable! The falafel sandwich, while attractive, had a strange taste I could not get used to. I did not finish the sandwich. The falafel was undercooked and soft. For those who have not eaten falafel, falafel is a deep-fried ball or patty-shaped fritter in Middle Eastern cuisine made from ground chickpeas, broad beans, or both. It is supposed to crispy and hot! This was just a ball of something cooked some time ago, again, waiting for us to drive up to order. Horrible! While I normally eat three times at a restaurant before I write a critique, this is a rare exception on my part since I have not had food this bad in a very long time. I will not make this poor, expensive mistake again by eating at this store again. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.Do not waste your money here until they fix their deficient kitchen.

For a 1st time customer I was little disappointed with the less than Mediterranean flavor of my order. The salmon kabobs were tasteless, no seasoning added. The salmon had a fishy taste like the skin was still attached so the flavor was unpleasant. I ordered extra kabobs but there was no extra sauce added. I really needed more sauce to cover the flavor of the salmon. The pita and hummus were extremely small portion but The Salad was delicious and so were the grilled vegetables.

Great place for a fresh lunch with a helpful staff. Sasha helped guide me through the menu as it had been a min since I have been here. She really put the "S" in service, something that you don't see anymore.

First u need a magnifying glass to find the lamb which looked chewed Waste of money mostly onions & feta Then they have the audacity to ask u to scan the code which costs more money to post your opinion If your in the mood for a lamb pita go to Blue Onion on Dove

Zoe's Kitchen serves excellent, healthy, and fantastic food. The staff is very hospitable and friendly. The cooks are #1! Everything on the menu is great, but my go to is shrimp kabobs, two servings of vegetables, tahini sauce, and hummus as an appetizer. You can't go wrong! Please go to Zoes, next to the McAllen Convention Center, and show you're support! I go multiple times a week!

We eat here several times a year. I like the Chicken Kabobs. The last time I got the Spicy Chicken Kabob. It was very good. I lie the Greek Salad, the Grilled Potato Salad, Chicken Salad and Pasta Salad as sides. We normally Pita Chips and a couple of extra sauces. It is always good.

I enjoyed coming here. Lately the food started tasting a bit different. Today I went to eat , and they are taking things out from the menu, which makes it less attractive to come here. plus they need someone that could really take care of the cleanliness. They really need to put attention to this area,

♥️ My favorite restaurant! I really love the pesto hummus. It’s the best thing I’ve ever eaten. ??‍♀️ I feel so healthy from this food. The chicken feta roll ups with the caramelized onions that I dip in the spicy aïoli sauce is so delicious. ? I could eat here everyday and not gain weight. When all other foods fail me, I know I can count on Zoës Kitchen. I’m so happy to hear Cava isn’t taking over this location
