Baker’s has been a long time classic burger joint on the east side of McKinney for years. I have been coming here for a long time. It has gone under some ownership changes in recent years and within the last year a menu change as well. It still has burgers, but now it’s pushing crab and wings. It’s in the same small place off McDonald street. You still order at the window and then they call you over the loud speaker when your order is ready. I was feeling nostalgic...

I am native to McKinneys east side and grew up having Bakers. I stopped by last night just to try the onion rings for some nostalgia. Found out that it is owned by Koreans now as of March 2025. Menu was different than ever before. Onion rings weren’t good. Tasted like old oil. Clean the fryers people. Place needs to be repainted and freshened up a bit. Need some good American music for people to listen to while they stand outside and wait. Bye bye Bakers you outta here! Sad...

First time to try this place, the burgers are amazing!! And the chili cheese fries are pretty good!! Crinkle cut french fry's! Great lunch, I will be back to try other stuff. This place is drive-up, no dining room. Js.
