My brother and I visited for lunch. We hadn't seen each other for quite some time so we were in no hurry. Our waitress understood this this and provided the perfect amount of attentiveness with appearing to rush us. The food, as usual, was amazing. Typically, I would have given it a 5 out of 5 stars, but the signature peach margarita was a bit of a letdown. It was described as a margarita having grilled peaches in it. Missing from the description was the fact that the peaches were canned, so instead of a tasty addition, they were more of a barely grill marked mass of slime. Barring that, the Megas brunch platter was astounding and large enough that I had leftovers to bring home. I will certainly eat here again.

I go here often and really enjoy every visit. The service is always on top of things. If they make a mistake they are quick to fix and help out. The food is always good and the margaritas are also fantastic. I highly recommend this place.
UPDATE** After 300+ visits still my go to!!How can give Blue Goose 6 stars! After 250+ visits, they've been consistent in everyway. I've only seen 1 or 2 off days in 9 years! I can't say that about any other place. Thank You Blue Goose!!

Very very good, delicious Mexican food! Everything was fresh and beyond full of flavor.
I was in McKinney for week in April for training. I visited The Blue Goose twice during my stay because it was right across from the hotel I was staying at. The restaurant was nice with great atmosphere and the staff was great. However, the food was not. On my first visit the food was cold and bland. I thought it might have been because I arrived right before closing time, so I decided to give the place a second chance. When I arrived the place was packed so I took a seat at the bar. I ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp. When my ordered arrived I could smell that the rice was burnt and So was the bacon wrapped shrimp. I finished my drink and paid for my order. I went back to my hotel room and made myself a sandwich. If you want to go to the Blue Goose for drinks, great staff and a nice atmosphere i recommend it but don't order any food.
Not living in Texas anymore, there are TexMex standards that never disappoint. Blue Goose is one of them.Even with a small issue with one entreé, they quickly fixed it and we're on top of getting some extra things for us to go as well. Thanks!!

Food was good. Margaritas were good. Try the flight. Queso was really good. Try the top shelf. Fajitas were on point.Parking: Parking can be a problem when they are busy.Kid-friendliness: They give kids crayons and a drawing/coloring sheet.
Went with a large party of volleyball girls and parents after a tournament with no notice. They didn't complain, were very efficient, and handled it like pros.
