This is one of the best restaurants on the planet. I went here for the first time in 2019, every time I go I get the vegetarian pita wrap. I went dozens of times when I lived in the area, and I don’t even live in the state anymore but Blue Olive has been a major consideration and a required stop every time I have come back for a visit. I have rearranged my agendas to come here. I have planned trips around how many times I could come here. My whole family loves Blue Olive, I love Blue Olive, I am eating Blue Olive as I write this, Blue Olive is amazing.

This is some of the BEST Mediterranean food I’ve had. The falafel are especially good - not at all greasy, full of flavor. The Arabic pita bread is delicious. I’ve not preferred dolma until trying the Blue Olive dolma - the flavor balance is perfect! We have had the food delivered and we have done takeout. Very gracious staff. They have accommodated my dairy allergy every time. So glad Blue Olive is in McKinney! Highly recommend!

Blue Olive Grill is hands-down one of the best Mediterranean spots I’ve ever visited. We ordered the Group Plate, and it was absolutely perfect for our party of four. The portions were incredibly generous, and the variety made it a great way to sample the best the restaurant has to offer.
The hummus was silky smooth and rich in flavor, and the tzatziki was refreshingly tangy. Everything tasted fresh and made from scratch, just as their motto promises. The staff was friendly and attentive, and our food came out quickly even though the restaurant was busy.
The Group Plate was a great value and made it easy for us to enjoy a shared meal without having to pick individual entrees. If you’re dining with a group, I highly recommend going this route—it’s flavorful, satisfying, and a true crowd-pleaser.
