Bob's Steak & Chop House Craig Ranch/McKinney

Our server was terrible. He kept taking away food before we were finished. The prices are in the range of most high steak houses, but we were not pleased with the quality. We have had better steaks at other places. We decided to try them for 47-year anniversary and were really disappointed. But I will give KUDOS to the manager. I am not one to normally complain but when the server took the plate from my wife when she was still working one her vegetables and gave a snide remark about maybe we did not need dessert, I talked to the manager. I told him I was looking for nothing in return but thought he should know about the server. He comped our entire meal even though we offered to pay, but not leave a tip

Everything was great except for the noise level. I was sitting right next to my wife but had to lean over in order to hear her.

Every thing was great. We like a quiet restaurant and so we booked early to avoid the noise. It was a nice location.

We celebrated birthday twins and had a great dinner. The filet, Mac and cheese, redfish were all excellent. Our server was very attentive and the manager also stopped by the check on us. Overall very nice experience

Our waiter was excellent. I ordered a prime rib to be cooked medium rare. It came medium to medium well. The Manager offered to replace it but I declined. To his credit, I was not charged for the meal. My son ordered the pork chop to be cooked medium to well. It was well+ and dry. He did not bring it to the Managers attention. The noise level was very high. We had a hard time talking to the waitress and each other.

The food was delicious. It is quite loud so it's not a romantic setting. The food did take a while to come out, but it was delicious worth coming back again.

Everything was very good to excellent- except the noice level. It's unfortunate that this beautiful restaurant failed to install materials to lessen the noise. Discussions just seem to be amplified, which can be annoying. Other than that, a great meal with outstanding service!

We had a lovely dining experience to celebrate the 40th birthday of a family member. The food was great, and the service was impeccable. The noise level made it a little difficult to converse across the table, but we would definitely celebrate there again.

Arrived a bit early so we could enjoy a cocktail at the bar. Sipped on a delicious martini. Table was ready on time with warm bread and their crisp jarred veggies. Yum! Entrees were superb-ribeye and the sea bass. Perfectly cooked. Wonderful service. Thanks for an enjoyable evening!

Sam was great last night. We appreciate her hospitality and her level of service. Always a great experience at Bobs McKinney. 

We went for our anniversary and had an awesome time. We went at 6 pm on a Monday night to have less crowd. When we arrived there were only a few tables with people. The wine list was great; they were even able to get the year I wanted on a second try. I got the bone-in Ribeye and it was perfect. My wife got the Filet but it was a touch overcooked but she enjoyed it. They comped us a serving of Carrot Cake for our anniversary. It is huge! It is so good and moist and even came with a side of ice cream. We took a lot home. The atmosphere is wide open. I didn't like the bar and it's television sets being within view. It does get loud when it gets full. We were seated as far from the bar as possible. Overall it was great! Glad to have a place like this so close to home.

There was a mistake with my wife's meal, the waiter and GM took care of it right away! Great serving staff and atmosphere. We will be back soon!

We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Bob's Steak & Chop house and we had a wonderful dinner together! My bone in ribeye was cooked to perfection! Our server was very accommodating and she also made sure she acknowledged our anniversary. Overall our experience was a 10 out of 10!

Outstanding experience as always. Jay, our server, was engaging and funny and helped us make the most of our 10th wedding anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and I had to bring half my steak home which is very rare but just couldn't finish it. We tried the bacon appetizer and it was delicious. The only detractor was we were originally going to be seated at a table near the bar area but the ambient conversation noise was so loud I couldn't hear my wife say it was too loud. We asked for a booth and they delivered with a much quieter booth that was secluded. We love Bob's and go every year on our anniversary.

There was a mix up with the reservation for a booth, birthday and what waiter we always had. Had to stand by the bar & wait for hostess to clear things up even when I gave her my name , booth request,& what waiter we had asked for & made on Open Table a week earlier. The waitress we had was not the best! Never said anything about birthday at all. We have had other important dates taken care of. Also had to wait a long time for my request for extra salad dressing had to ask over again after a long wait. This had never happened to us with other visits there. The food is ALWAYS so very good! But not this waitress! Brian (on vacation) we always had is OUTSTANDING not her!
