First of all I most open with no restaurant or bakery is a 5 out of a 5! Bresnan's does a very good job of offering bakery products utilizing the better ingredients. Not 15 different items to a recipe like the garbage presented by processed baked goods and groceries.
Everyone in the shop is very personable and the lines are never to bad if you get there and have to wait. I am not a fan of the location because the parking on a busy day is terrible. When they grow parking will certain be a commodity. But worth it to fight for a spot. I'm just not walking 3-4 blocks when it is 90 damn degrees outside. I already drive from Carrollton to get pizza!!
Above all, the sourdough pizza is the best pizza product certainly in all of McKinney, and I will include Frisco and Plano!! Period. No Neapolitan wanna be can touch the crispness of the crust. I look forward to the bakery adding more topping choices, but understand they are still working within limits.
I hope with the expansion they encompass a variety of sandwiches/subs along with a more consistent pizza option. They will hit it out of the park. The quality is there! Absolutely worth the trip and trying it out.
A hidden gem!
Never had a bad thing here! Plus the staff are super nice, friendly, and great with suggestions!
Hands down the best authentic bakery you will find without flying to France (and maybe even then!). Every single Bresnan item is just amazing (and I think I've tried them all!). Even flavors that I think I might not like or are out of my usual blow me away. A Bresnan pastry instantly makes my day (and their bread makes my week!). Even their coffee is incredible (syrups are made in-house!). Freshly made with a lot of care, the best ingredients and no shortcuts.

I've seen the line outside of this place for years and finally checked it out! Despite the line, they are pretty quick and once you order it won't take long.
There are a wide variety of pastries, savory snacks, and breads that sells quickly as the day goes on due to popularity and demand, so the earlier you get there the better!
When they have sourdough left over from the day before they mark it down 25% off! That was super exciting to see as I've been wanting to try it, but also it's a HUGE loaf and I'm only one person. I've gotten a couple now when they were on sale and I immediately put half in the freezer when I get home.
Really, I love trying everything on a menu and so far I've not been disappointed. I know some of the items would taste even better if I heated them up, I just don't have the patience lol.
After 11, they sell pizza by the slice. When I came at that time it smelled SO GOOD even around the corner, and I'm really looking forward to trying it.
They also have these coolers with sandwhiches, MEGA slices of cheesecakes, and more.
It's a really neat place where you can see all the workers doing their thing (they stay busy cuz there's a lot to bake!!) Seriously, it's been hard to keep myself from going back every day.
It's a family-owned business, and the quality of the food and pastries is amazing more than words can describe. It's my go-to place when I’m heading to the office or every Sunday on my way to church to grab a croissant and coffee. It has become a family tradition. Keep up the good work, and don't change your recipes!
The bread is incredible.
Clean environment.
Great staff!
Friendly staff plus food made with good ingredients. First time I came I had a ham and cheese croissant, which may not sound like anything magical but was especially fantastic mid-ride. Now they have pizza by the slice in the evenings? With hot honey? I’ll be back.

Everything I have ever purchased there has been good but I just wanted to highlight the individual apple pastry with the glaze. (Not the correct name but I can’t remember what y’all called it). I saw one of the bakers making it and decided to try it. The filling was AMAZING. Glaze was just enough and super tasty. If you ever get a chance, stop by, totally worth every calorie. Although they will laugh at you if you ask them if there is sugar in the chai latte. ?

I tried the chocolate chip cookie. It was really good. They sprinkled some salt crystals on the cookie and I really liked this version.
They are very popular, so run out of stuff. You need to get here early if you wish to try there danishes. Unfortunately they were out when I visited.
