In addition to great food and customer service, the atmosphere/vibe felt more like a local pub; sort of like that old TV show “Cheers” (where everyone knows your name). I got a chance to take a picture with the actual owner (John) and met a few regular customers who also took time to recommended their favorite dishes. I’ll definitely be back!

The food at Broken Yolk Café was okay, but the service really missed the mark. I asked for another fork and it never came. The servers basically just stop by to take your order and drop off the food — that’s about it. Don’t expect much customer service or attention.

We had high hopes for Broken Yolk, however, after waiting 15 minutes for service, and over 35 minutes for our food (on a Friday arrival time 11:20) only to be extremely disappointed by the sub par culinary offerings, we will not be returning. It was, at the very least, a grave disappointment. The food was undercooked and underseasoned and the service was slow and inattentive. In short, Broken Yolk was a colossal letdown.
