The food is excellent, it's some of the best cajun left in the area. The fried catfish is crispy and the fries and puppies are delicious. Service is great and food comes fast.

We had the fried catfish, shrimp and clams. We got it spicy cause that's how we roll. The fried batter was light and crispy. The portion sizes were large. The spicy-ness was just right. Enough that we could taste it but not overpowering. Staff provided extra cups of Cajun sauce on request. (We like it spicy). The sides were great too. We got some banana pudding, on a whim, and it was great! With fresh banana slices, crispy vanilla wafers and whip cream on top. We had this order to go and it was completed in about 10 minutes and packed nicely. Staff was friendly and polite. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. We were attending an event at the football stadium down the street. This was close by and we had a craving for some seafood. Will definitely come back the next time we're in the area.

I finally made it to this restaurant. What a disappointment in the food. I ordered Cajun Alfredo pasta. It was awful. Everything bland and the sausage sliced so thin, and why is zucchini in Alfredo? A BIG NO for me.
The guy at the counter was nice.

Found this place by a coupon that came in my mailbox. The interior is large with high ceilings, which is nice if you don't like to feel cramped in a small space. They also provide outdoor seating with a covered roof.
The staff were friendly and welcoming. And there was no lines up on arrival. There is fresh lemonade and sweet/unsweetened tea on tap, as well as a soda fountain. I chose the sweet/unsweet tea. It was delicious! Normally when I get teas from tap, the water in it has a funky aftertaste. So I'm really impressed!
The pricing is a little more than, say an applebees or a chain sit down restaurant. However, my food was delicious, hot, and well cooked. The fish was flavorful, and well seasoned with the lemon and garlic butter provided. The rice and beans had great flavors. Smokey and almost faintly barbecued? And a little kick at the end. It came with a sprinkle of green onions on top.
The zucchini was well cooked, not too slimy, just the right amount of crispness.
The only bad things I could think of, was finding a couple of bones in the fish, and the pricing was a little more than I normally would go for.
Overall I had a great meal, and recommend trying! If you are looking for a hole-in-the-wall with tasty homemade cape-bar style food, try here!

Went in for 1st time. We will be back! My wife & I shared 3 piece fried catfish with fries & added fried shrimp. The son had a catfish po' boy. Would like to know where they are noodling these catfish...fillets were thick, big and succulent! Added Cajun spice that was not overpowering or salty, just right and I would ask for a bit more next time or on the side. Also added a side of green beans for the wife. Didn't hear a word out of anyone while chowing down, plates were almost licked clean. Gentleman that took our order was courteous, as was the gentleman that brought our tray of food. Prices were consistent for market. Been to the local chain off the highway and another Cajun restaurant closer to home that is a bit more pricey. This place is a winner! Can't wait to try other dishes. I glanced at another table that had pasta and a bowl of something like jambalaya or gumbo that really looked tasty. Plenty of open space to dine in. Small crowd when we arrived so it was not loud. Plenty of parking!
